The article by Bellsnyder highlights her support for Democrat Gina Hinojosa for governor over Republican Greg Abbott, despite Bellsnyder saying she is a longtime Republican. She makes sure to mention that she is a former Greg Abbott staffer who is now supporting Democratic candidate for Texas governor Gina Hinojosa.

The article was propped up by a legacy media outlet as one of the many examples of Republicans now supporting Democratic candidates. Oftentimes the “Republicans” being highlighted in the media are well known to be anything but, or in some cases, Republicans who keep accidentally voting in Democrat primaries:

That isn’t the case here. Bellsnyder is a Republican. Her voting record shows twenty years of Republican primary ballots.

What is important about this op-ed is what was not disclosed. Bellsnyder’s company, Bellsnyder Group LLC, was paid $57,000 by Gina Hinojosa’s campaign before her op-ed ran in the Dallas Morning News.

The Hinojosa campaign’s reports show four payments to Bellsnyder’s company, misspelled “Bellsynder.” The payments are from June 3rd to October 1st.

Current Revolt (CR) called Bellsnyder to ask about the payments and her consulting work for the Gina Hinojosa campaign. Bellsnyder told CR that her company runs rural outreach for the Hinojosa campaign to “talk to voters about Gina.” Bellsnyder said it started as a “diagnostic program, basically to test whether there was any ability to move voters in rural Texas.” The work, Bellsnyder says, eventually included a full field team in September.

Bellsnyder told CR that the op-ed was her own and outside the paid work: “not within the scope of that project.” Bellsnyder confirmed that the Hinojosa campaign knew she was working on the op-ed for the Dallas Morning News (DMN). She could not confirm whether or not the Hinojosa campaign reviewed her op-ed before she submitted it to the DMN.

Current Revolt reached out to the Hinojosa campaign for comment. No response was received in time for publishing.

Bellsnyder stated she did not tell the Dallas Morning News about the $57,000 her company got from the Hinojosa campaign before the op-ed ran: “I’m assuming that they knew.” She added, “I did not even see it as an issue.”

The Dallas Morning News did.

To be fair, Bellsnyder does know how to write a disclosure. She wrote one on Aug. 1, in a column on Hinojosa’s pitch to rural Texas, after she was invited to join Hinojosa and her campaign team one Sunday. By then the campaign had already paid her firm $6,000!

She’ll disclose her support for a bill from last session, but the $6,000 apparently didn’t come up.

On a second call, she corrected the number herself: “For being really accurate, $57,000.”

Current Revolt reached out to The Dallas Morning News about Bellsnyder’s op-ed and her lack of paid-consultant disclosure. DMN provided the following comment:

The Morning News has since put an editor’s note at the top of the column. It says she confirmed she’s a paid consultant for the Hinojosa campaign, and that the paper “would have declined to publish this piece.”

The piece is still published.

The Kalshi market shows Abbott at 60% over Gina Hinojosa.

Sid Miller Paid “American Potential” $90k. Now American Potential Is Attacking Nate Sheets.

A text message ad is making the rounds in Texas telling Republicans not to vote for Nate Sheets for Ag Commissioner:

Clicking the image shows it was paid for by “American Potential”

So who is American Potential?

According to state campaign finance data from TransparencyUSA, a payee called American Potential has been paid $90,000 by Sid Miller’s campaign:

Four payments came from Miller, all labeled “Advertising Expense”:

• $50,000 on February 23, 2026

• $10,000 on February 26, 2026

• $20,000 on March 3, 2026

• $10,000 on March 3, 2026

Now to be clear, there is no record showing Sid Miller paid for this ad. The data doesn’t say what the $90,000 to American Potential bought.

The data above also lists American Potential’s city as “Alxandria” (their spelling) with no state. There’s also a federal committee called “American Potential” that, per ProPublica, “only reports independent expenditures to the FEC.” Current Revolt has not confirmed it’s the same group.

Sid has posted aggressively against Nate Sheets as of late. On October 19th, Miller posted an essay on his own website telling voters to reject Sheets.

Miller also told the Texas Tribune he hasn’t endorsed in the Ag Commissioner race.

Sheets has called Miller “the most corrupt figure in Texas government.”

CR has covered Miller's post-primary turn before. Now there's an attack ad with a name on the bottom that Miller's campaign has written $90,000 in checks to.

Maybe it's a coincidence.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — The City of Grapevine is proud to announce it has no idea who is searching its license plate cameras, has never had any idea, and has told three citizens in writing that there is no way to find out. The City thanks Flock for keeping these records safe, wherever they are. The City’s own police policy, which says ALPR audits should be conducted on a regular basis, remains in effect.

And people wonder why Republicans are polling so poorly.

Here are a few updates from our investigation about Flock spy cameras watchin’ yo ass for October 28th, 2026.

1. Grapevine says it has no way to audit its own cameras. We found 11,449 of Grapevine’s searches in other cities’ audits.

The City of Grapevine has told three different people, in writing, that it cannot produce audit logs for its Flock cameras because a vendor keeps the records and the city doesn’t have them.

Of course, Grapevine’s own searches are all over the logs other cities already released: 10,558 through Colleyville’s cameras, 891 through Forney’s in just a month!

Either nobody in Grapevine has ever checked who’s searching Grapevine’s cameras, or they’re lying about it. Both are LOL, and both are terrible for Texas.

We provided receipts to Grapevine showing where they paid for audit and reporting tool capabilities in their Flock system. We’ve asked again for the same audit logs four other cities already released. The deadline for release of the logs they don’t want to produce is today!

2. A Grapevine police captain signed a $138,800 Flock contract two months after the council voted that anything over $15,000 needs council approval.

Valentina Gomez Now Paid to Shill in Serbia

Failed Texas Congressional candidate Valentina Gomez is well known for doing undisclosed-paid ads and promotion on social media. She’s now moved onto international ventures which include Serbia:

Gomez, who is shocking only 27 years old, ran for congress in TX-31 and only managed to get 11 points in the Republican primary.

Gomez and her brother were trespassed from a Texas hotel after acting like fools during a Williamson County GOP Gala:

Serbia isn’t the only country that influencers have targeted. Recently some Texas “journalists” took an undisclosed paid-for trip to Poland.

The Gonzalez campaign called him “a peaceful poll worker.”

In photos and video obtained by Current Revolt, a Gonzalez poll volunteer working at the Brownsville Library appeared “asleep” while holding signs that displayed the photo and name of Gonzalez’s opponent, Republican Eric Flores.

Across two days of working the poll, the volunteer repeatedly fell asleep, even dropping his signs onto the ground:

The signs say “TRUMP ENDORSED” and “Support ICE!” The same design is on a digital billboard in Brownsville, and according to The Washington Sun, the fine print on that billboard says the Gonzalez campaign paid for it. The Flores campaign sent the billboard company a cease-and-desist letter on Oct. 12, and its spokesperson called the billboard “a scam.”

Many people are asking if the Gonzalez campaign deliberately hired a volunteer who appeared impaired and would fall asleep in public in order to damage voters’ impression of Flores.

At one point this week, citizens became so concerned for the poll volunteer that police were called and the volunteer was asked to pack up his things and leave the polling place:

Current Revolt reached out to the Vicente Gonzalez campaign to inquire about the poll volunteer. A spokesperson did not deny he was hired by their campaign and provided the following comment:

Current Revolt also reached out to the Eric Flores campaign to inquire about the Gonzalez poll volunteer holding signs with Flores on them:

In response to the Gonzalez campaign’s claim that Flores wants to “scrub any appearance of a Trump endorsement,” the Flores campaign added:

Tarrant County GOP Has Signs Defaced With Swastika

Tarrant County Judge Tim O’Hare’s signs were defaced with swastikas earlier this week in a trend that continues across areas in Texas

The signs were located directly in front of the Tarrant County GOP office and were defaced Wednesday night.

Just last week an unknown woman pulled up to a person’s home and stole their Tim O’Hare sign in the middle of the day:

Current Revolt reached out to Tarrant County GOP Chairman Tim Davis for comment:

Grapevine Flock Update

We could easily overload our Texas readers with all the insane Flock stories in a country that supposedly has a Fourth Amendment protecting against general warrants.

Instead, we only focus on Texas cities and get deep into the weeds and pull receipts. Let me be the one to tell you: when every city you look at is filled with half-truths, obfuscation, legal threats, and now mislabeled files being sent in place of real audit logs, you know the problem is far worse than anyone imagined.

Some cities are complying nicely with requests from citizens for information on their Flock programs (nicely meaning after a 4-5 digit quote and a complaint to the AG). Others are going to great lengths to keep the audit logs hidden, along with how these automated general-warrant tracking systems are actually being used.

Grapevine Says It Has No Way to Audit Its Flock Cameras. We Found 12,339 of Grapevine’s Searches in Other Cities’ Audits.

Grapevine has now responded to open records requests from at least three different requestors by stating the city has no way to audit the use of its police department’s Flock cameras.

Not sure which is the more absurd possibility: that they’re telling the truth, or that they’re lying. They make this claim despite records showing they paid for the audit tool.

Grapevine’s own police rulebook tells its officers “ALPR system audits should be conducted on a regular basis.” Keller, Colleyville, Forney and Pflugerville all exported the exact same logs and handed them over.

Keller’s own screenshot of the Flock page shows the Network Audit tab and the Event Log tab sitting right there on the menu bar. For some reason, Grapevine can’t find the button to comply with the law.

Here’s the part that is really the chef’s kiss. We can’t get Grapevine’s logs, but we have everybody else’s, and Grapevine PD is in all of them! Grapevine ran 10,558 searches through Colleyville’s cameras from March to August. It ran 891 through Forney’s in 31 days.

Current Revolt has asked Grapevine in writing to produce the export, or to do what the Texas Public Information Act requires when a city withholds something by sending the Attorney General a written reason.

If the government buying access to track and trace your personal movements without a warrant doesn’t bother you, perhaps some questionable financial decisions around these general warrant cameras will tickle your fancy?

Grapevine’s $138,800 Flock Contract Never Went to Council

Grapevine’s Flock program started on August 16, 2022, as a consent item. Nine cameras, $24,000, with $20,000 of it from the Texas Motor Vehicle Crime Prevention Authority (ABBOTT ABBOTT ABBOTT), which is the same insurance-fee slush fund that bought cameras in many other cities. It sailed through Grapevine 6 to 0 with zero discussion. The entire spoken record is the mayor saying “13 through 18 is consent” and “motion carries.”

Untold millions of searches against the comings and goings of Grapevine’s citizens, and not one of the brave public servants on the council asked a single question before they did it. Makes you wonder what else goes through unquestioned in this town.

Then, in November 2023, a police captain signed Flock’s order at $27,500 a year for 60 months and a total of $138,800. That order appears on no agenda, no budget slide, no minutes and no vote. We read all 29 of Grapevine’s 2023 council records and 664 pages of packets. It’s not in there.

The problem is that two months earlier, on September 5, 2023, that same council passed its budget ordinance, Section 6:

Here is a fun picture with the receipts on both sides.

Colleyville’s Flock transparency page says their spy cameras were searched 44 times in the last 30 days. The audit logs the city handed over under open records show an average of over 700,000 searches a month. It’s truly a cartoonish situation, and we’ve been monitoring it for three months now and the city’s story has not survived a single records response.

Current Revolt has learned that many of the searches sweeping the city’s helpful “pattern-of-life” warrantless spy system were not authorized by the city. Emails obtained by Current Revolt show the Police Chief stated he “thought” national sharing was off, despite getting monthly emails explicitly stating nationwide sharing was on.

(Colleyville priced the release of those emails at nearly $12,000 before an overcharge complaint was filed with the Attorney General, after which the emails were released at no charge.)

Here’s Police Chief Michael Miller on the night of August 20, after he found a Georgia sheriff’s office in his own audit log:

He told the council the same thing on September 1. When describing the “guardrails” in their warrantless spy system, Chief Miller said that the city only shares “with credentialed law enforcement agencies in the state of Texas.” So by the chief’s own definition, 1.76 million searches of Colleyville’s cameras were unauthorized. He did not mention that the in-state sharing settings had only been active a few days.

Chief Miller told the council “officers must document why they are searching in the system.”

Current Revolt glanced at over 100,000 searches that say otherwise.

Chief Miller also stated:

He told council on Sept. 1 that all three fields “are required.” Four minutes later, in the weeds, he conceded the case number field had only “recently” become required because “we found a gap in our policy.” What he never said is what the gap looked like: 1,268 of his own department’s 3,340 searches went out with no case number before he closed it on Aug. 19. But are they actually required for anyone else?

There are over 2 million searches with no case number, yet the police chief is telling the City that it is required. How would a reasonable person characterize such a statement? To imply the number is 0, when the real number is 2,277,935 for 6 months.

Donate

No case number is required for outside agencies to search the movement of people driving through Colleyville at this very moment. Yes, right now as you read this, no case number is actually required to search Colleyville’s cameras. In fact, THE MAJORITY OF SEARCHES OF COLLEYVILLE’S FLOCK CAMERAS HAVE NO CASE NUMBER.

You can watch the Chief mislead City officials in this clip (3 clips cut together):

Later in the video, Chief Miller is asked about websites publishing data on Flock records released by Police Departments. He says he doesn’t know how citizens are getting the data, attempts to discredit the sites publishing the data, and says data posted online about Colleyville’s searches “are not ours.” He says the data obtained by open records requests on Flock audit logs are not reliable.

So to recap, 4.4 million searches from over 3,800 agencies. 2,277,935 of them have no case number at all, but case numbers are also required. And the transparency portal says 44 searches, but the running average is 700k according to the data released by the city, but also Flock audit logs are not reliable, but also there are guardrails in place to prevent abuse, which includes audit logs.

Expired tags

Slide 7 of the same deck lists what the cameras are allegedly NOT used for:

I know our readers are thinking, “Oh thank heavens they aren’t searching up people for expired tags.”

Here are a few searches Colleyville officers ran through the city’s own cameras, reason typed in by the officer:

“BUT TOMMY, THE CHIEF SAID ALL SEARCHES MUST HAVE A CASE NUMBER.”

*taps gaslighting definition*

“OPERATE UNREGISTERED.” In some circles we call that expired tags. Again, no case number on any of the four, but also case numbers are required ;)

Anyways, besides the unexplained (or mis-explained) sanctuary city policy Colleyville was running by blocking immigration searches from outside agencies (while allowing totally blank ones) the Chief's defense of the cameras are now (on record) as essentially:

• Trust me bro

• The audit logs are unreliable/inaccurate

• I investigated it myself

Of course there’s more on Colleyville. But we have more cities to cover. After all, it’s a private, nationwide surveillance grid tracking people who have done nothing wrong. So Colleyville is only one small piece of the dystopian puzzle.

The Fourth Amendment does not ban toilet cameras. Imagine how many crimes we could prevent?

The Log One City Actually Sent

The city of Forney quoted a reader $33,453 to answer the nine questions on their Flock cameras. The reader sent the Attorney General a one-sentence overcharge complaint and, like magic, the $33,453 became $0.

Here is a look at one month of a Texas city’s cameras, August 4 to September 3:

Even the U.S. Postal Inspection Service is searching Forney’s cameras for some reason.

The file the city sent is named “1-26 thru 9-26,” January through September. It holds 31 days.

Exhausting.

Grapevine Is In The Thick Of It

The city of Grapevine told us last week it has no audit logs. “No such records maintained by our agency.”

Grapevine PD ran 891 searches through Forney’s cameras in just 31 days, according to Forney.

Grapevine did answer us Monday. No logs, but a bill for $1,080 for eleven weeks of emails on five subject words.

How many emails is this for? They didn’t say.

We sent the Attorney General an overcharge complaint Wednesday night, the same neat trick that took Forney’s bill from $33,453 to $0. Their ten business days on the logs run out October 28.

Somervell County

A reader in Glen Rose couldn’t find Somervell County on our spreadsheet. It’s there, under the sheriff, row 632. The state (Abbott’s board) gave the Somervell County Sheriff’s Office $40,833 this fiscal year for seven Flock cameras and a trailer. As of July, none were on any public map. To our dear readers in Somervell, if they’re up, tell us where. The county’s records page is here.

Forney was the most expensive city on our scoreboard a month ago. Now it’s the cheapest. One reader, one sentence to the Attorney General.

Keep filing. tips@currentrevolt.com

Correction, Oct. 23: An earlier version of this article said the chief did not tell council the case number requirement was new. He did, at 00:26:51 of the Sept. 1 video, describing it as fixing “a gap in our policy.” The article has been updated. He did not say how many searches ran without one.

Ag Commissioner Sid Miller Has Reached Butthurt Levels We Didn’t Think Were Possible

Outgoing Ag Commissioner Sid Miller is so butthurt he lost his run for re-election as Ag Commissioner, that he penned a note (almost exclusively written by AI) all but endorsing the Democrat in his race.

In an op-ed first noticed by top txlege noticer Brad Johnson, Miller attacks Republican Nate Sheets in the Ag Commissioner race:

Miller goes on to compliment Democrat Clayton Tucker while saying his “loyalty has always been to Texas, not a political party.”

Mark McCaig ran Miller’s note in an AI detector and determined it’s around 91% AI written. Which is pretty hilarious considering Miller is very outspoken against data centers:

Miller once considered himself a “RINO Hunter” and now he’s out here basically endorsing Democrats.

You hate to see it.

Democrat Influencers Are Baiting Republicans on Social Media

Carlos Espina, a “Community organizer and Immigrant rights activist” who promotes his “14 million followers” on social media, posted some bait on X that got quite a lot of traction:

The post, where Espina says he’s “one of the millions of Latinos who are dissatisfied with the Republicans” received over 7k likes on X and over half a million views.

Espina’s careful wording makes it seem as if he’s a former Republican, however Espina has been voting Democrat for years and even spoke at the Democratic National Convention:

Don’t take the bait!

The Trans Flyer Going Around is Almost Certainly an Op

Republican voters on social media are up in arms over a pamphlet that went out to, what seems like, mostly Republican primary voters, offering a “Texas Trans & LGBTQ+ Student Resource Guide”:

Influencers and voters across Facebook and X posted the flyers, incredibly upset that they seemingly targeted the students in their household.

Many people are saying this is a conservative/Republican operation meant to anger/worry Republican voters into hitting the polls.

Time will tell if it worked!

Bank Moves to Foreclose on Sid Miller’s $240k Chief of Staff

Todd Smith, the longtime political consultant to Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller and current chief of staff at the Texas Department of Agriculture, is facing a pending home equity foreclosure in Travis County. Smith has a well-documented history of financial and legal trouble. He filed Chapter 7 in 2015. In 2024 he pleaded guilty to commercial bribery for soliciting payments tied to hemp licenses the department issues, and got two years of deferred adjudication. Smith received deferred adjudication for the bribery case.

Smith and his former wife are defendants in the foreclosure case (Case No. D-1-GN-26-004199) in Travis County. US Bank Trust National Association, acting as a trustee, filed an expedited home equity foreclosure action against the Smiths on May 22nd of this year. The Smiths filed an answer in June and a notice of hearing was entered in August.

The filing comes more than a decade after Smith’s Chapter 7 bankruptcy. On February 27th of 2015, Todd Smith filed a Capter 7 petition in the Western District of Texas listing an Austin address. Schedules showed roughly $410,650 in assets against $1,577,273 in liabilities. Smith’s household monthly income was about $16,274 while his expenditures ran about $24,260. Secured claims against Smith included multiple Mercedes-Benz Financial Services obligations and a mortgage claim of approximately $344,000.

Among the unsecured nonpriority claims was a $266,000 business debt to Wishlist Direct of New Braunfels. Wishlist Direct, which also operates as VoterDirect Texas, is a direct-mail and campaign marketing firm that has done substantial work for Texas Republican candidates and PACs. Sid Miller’s campaign is among the payers to Wishlist Direct.

The Chapter 7 trustee’s final account, filed in October of 2016, reported that roughly $912,000 in claims were discharged without payment. Total distributions to claimants were only about $23,800 with most assets abandoned or claimed as exempt.

Todd Smith did not respond to multiple messages for comment. He had no trouble getting back to us in August when the question was whether Miller had endorsed a Democrat. Home equity questions are apparently a different department.

Republicans have been weary and disappointed in outgoing Ag Commissioner Sid Miller as he has refused to endorse Nate Sheets against Democrat Clayton Tucker.

A quick timeline: Sid lost his primary on March 3. The foreclosure against Smith was filed May 22nd. By July Smith had gotten a 10% raise. Somebody at TDA is apparently better with money than Smith is. Welcome to Texas politics.

Recently, Current Revolt reported that both Democrat Clayton Tucker and Sid Miller posted the similar AI slop on their social media pages as well as suspicious similarities in bible quotes.

Democrat Running to Regulate Drilling Has Done His RESEARCH

Many people are saying the Texas Democrat ticket gets weirder the further down the ballot you go, and nobody has scrolled all the way down yet. The Democrat for Senate learned there are six genders from scientists. The Democrat for Railroad Commissioner, as it turns out, did his own research.

That’s right, Democrat Jon Rosenthal is running statewide and sliding down his personal slippery slope of sexual degeneracy at the same time, and his social media accounts continue to subscribe to the weirdest possible porn accounts in the history of the Texas Legislature.

Dallas Express:

It was only like 2 accounts but…

The job of Railroad Commissioner is pipelines, injection wells and flaring. Clearly Rosenthal has been studying.

But in all seriousness, the problem is now obviously far worse than anyone imagined. His Republican opponent, Bo French, called him “the most brazen and depraved Democrat running statewide this cycle.”

Rosenthal didn’t respond to the Dallas Express. He did respond to two posts from the Trans Slumber Party account, with a like.

Apparently Rosenthal and French are doing a debate next week.

No idea how LGBT and the Islamification of Texas will make it into a Railroad Commission debate, but somebody’s going to try, and we’ll be monitoring the situation next Thursday.

Perhaps we’ll finally get an answer to this notorious question posed by French:

Random Woman Crashes Hinojosa Speech

A recent Austin occurrence put the “goober” in gubernatorial. While Democrat gubernatorial Gina Hinojosa was giving a speech in downtown Austin, bemoaning Abbott not debating her, a random lady walked up to the empty podium and demanded a debate in the name of “equal air time.” Considering the amount of hobos and weirdos residing there, this looks like another day in Travis County.

Hinojosa continued speaking once the spontaneous woman was removed by security, whining about Abbott buying space in front of the governor’s mansion so she couldn’t speak there.

Despite the oddity, Current Revolt was able to ID the woman as Texas independent gubernatorial candidate Jenn Mack Raphoon. Back in July, we researched her and found that she had ZERO primary voting history.

Her strategy to run as an independent is strange, considering we have this thing called a “primary” that Republicans can choose their nominee in. Granted, she doesn’t pay attention to those. That said, her crashing a Democrat candidate’s speech was still entertaining.

In our crystal ball, I can see her getting a very prestigious 1.5% of the vote. So far, her campaign is primarily podcast clips and eye-burning Canva and AI slop graphics. No word on whether Doc Chambers will endorse her.

No word on what Mack will do post-November. I hear Doc Chambers’s RV has a spare couch.

VIDEO: BLACK STUDENTS VS WHITE TALARICO SUPPORTER

An Austin area white woman’s property is under siege by HBCU students after getting into a spat over street parking.

In the video above, you can spot a Talarico sign in the woman’s yard while she argues with another woman about parking.

The white woman was allegedly writing notes on people’s cars to not park in front of her house. The black woman told her it was legal for people to park on the street. The white woman countered by saying she paid $1.5M for her house and that the HBCU’s graduation rate is only 25%.

A quick patriot fact check on this claim finds it FALSE. It’s actually 34%:

This upset the black woman and she rallied a large group to protest and dance in front of her house:

Savanah Hernandez did a follow up interview where she interviewed one of the black students and noticed that the white woman took down her Talarico sign.

The woman has now enforced a strong border of private property signs around her house.

Maybe she needs a fence or a big beautiful wall?

VIDEO: Woman Ganks Tim O’Hare Sign

Tarrant County Judge, Tim O’Hare, posted a video on X the other day of a woman driving up to a person’s house and stealing their Tim O’Hare signs:

Rep. David Lowe posted a $500 reward offer on his Facebook for anyone who had information on the thief that leads to their conviction:

Kerr County GOP Demands Judge Boot Independent Who Voted in Republican Runoff

The Kerr County Republican Party and Commissioner Rich Paces are demanding that County Judge Rob Kelly declare independent candidate Jeremy Walther ineligible for the Precinct 2 race.

Jeremy Walther voted in the Republican primary runoff earlier this year. Now Walther is running as an independent.

However, Texas Election Code 145.003 states anyone who participates in a party’s primary or runoff is barred from appearing on the general election ballot as an independent against that party’s nominee. Rich Paces had won the Republican party nomination back in the March primary.

Kerr County Republican Party Counsel (and former FEC chairman) Trey Trainor of Dhillon Law Group delivered a letter to Judge Kelly on Monday asking him to review the early voting roster and declare Walther ineligible under the statue.

The request doesn’t seek to remove Walther’s name from the ballots or delay early voting. The party has asked for a written response by today, October 15th, and said it’s prepared to seek expedited relief in district court if necessary.

“Texas law is clear, and the Secretary of State has said so in writing: if you vote in a party’s primary or its runoff, you can’t turn around and run against that party’s nominee as an independent,” Trainor said. “The county’s own records show Mr. Walther voted in the Republican runoff.”

Kerr County GOP Chair Helen Herd stated that the public record of Walther’s runoff vote was available to county officials before he was certified for the ballot. “Voters deserve election officials who get the basics right,” she said, while endorsing Republican Carl Berthold for County Clerk and Commissioner Paces for re-election.

The party has also directed officials to preserve all records and communications related to Walther’s candidacy.

Colleyville is “solid,” he says, and the city’s Flock transparency page “contained incorrect information about immigration enforcement,” which “has already been corrected.”

Notice that “Traffic enforcement” is a listed as a prohibited for Flock cameras by the Colleyville PD.

Colleyville police are searching for it, actually. The city's log, the one it handed over for $0, shows Colleyville officers typed "Traffic Infraction" as the reason for a search over 100 times, and outside agencies searched Colleyville’s cameras over 348,000 times with the reason stated “Traffic Infraction.”

So the page the mayor corrected on Friday is still wrong. It’s just wrong about traffic now instead of immigration.

Great job!

And the mayor still hasn’t explained what exactly happened with this setting. His first post said one setting got turned off by mistake, “an immigration-related setting,” and that it happened “while making those changes” to national sharing. The event log the city handed over says otherwise.

Three settings changed on August 19, all under the chief’s login: both immigration options pulled off the search dropdown at 3:40 p.m., then the “Immigration Enforcement” block and the “Reproductive Health” block switched on together at 4:34 p.m. National sharing didn’t get turned off until 6:35 p.m. the next day:

On an X space, Rhein Amacher, the source of the Talarico audio, stated he initially shopped the audio and story to Sara Gonzales of The Blaze and Daily Mail but that it didn’t pass their legal check.

Current Revolt’s story on the story highlighted the fact that the timeline didn’t add up.

This is a developing story:
