People of color—especially illegal colors—are being disproportionately impacted by the federal government’s move to increase prices for illegal aliens wishing to purchase another two years of unlawful presence in the United States.
Ideally, we would just deport them. However, you have to give the Feds credit, using them as an ATM machine is kind of funny.
Beginning Monday, filing to be a legal citizen, DACA recipient or permanent resident will be more expensive.
According to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the last time application prices went up was in 2016. The agency is increasing fees to cover the cost and avoid future application backlogs.
"When people are applying for their residency, and it's multiple family members, the increase is significant, and they are going to struggle to pay those fees.”
Rather than be deported, some illegal aliens are paying the federal government a fee similar to a country club membership —a shakedown paid every two years so they can keep their ill-gotten gains.
McAllen immigration attorney, Carlos Garcia, says the best thing recipients can do is apply online. He says there are benefits to doing it that way, and some fees may be waived for certain forms.
…
For example, people who have been victims of domestic violence will get their application fee waived.
Interesting incentive.
Garcia says because immigration laws in Texas are changing so much, he recommends continuing to apply for immigration benefits if you qualify.
Immigration laws are changing? I had not heard.
"I understand that sometimes it makes it difficult because of the fees, but if you fail to renew on some of those programs for instance DACA, you don't renew it then you lose it and that's a benefit you don't want to lose because you subject yourself to deportation or other consequences by immigration," Garcia said.
Deportation means paying the cartels to sneak back in, which I don’t think is a big deal at this point.
Invasion is big business, and the Feds wanted in, so they created DACA to turn these people into a $200M cash stream.
Imagine not understanding how simple this is.
There is actually Republican from Texas who openly says he does not understand what is happening at the border. His name is Craig Goldman.
Craig Goldman is unfortunately serving as a current State Representative from the Fort Worth area. He is the ex-Texas House GOP Caucus Chairman, and was possibly a diversity pick by the body. Goldman has a long history of picking the wrong side on common sense issues (like free speech.)
Former energy executive and conservative activist Tom Glass uncovered a particularly rank skeleton in Goldman’s closet: joining Democrats to undermine common sense gimmigrant control.
Craig Goldman;
voted ”present”
with Democrats
against a requirement
that only citizens can vote in Texas
Seriously, Goldman appears to be clueless. Here is a clip of him at the border saying he doest’t understand why the federal government would want run a divide and conquer operation against a hostile Texas.
It just gets worse.
Goldman is in a runoff against John O’Shea to replace outgoing Congresswoman Kay Granger.
I really liked the conservative messaging I saw from O’Shea, but there is one problem.
Not only is his family name Irish, but southern Irish.
Yuck. Might as well be from Oklahoma.
Hopefully O’Shea wins, otherwise we may need to consider deporting the Irish as well.
