Welcome to “Many People Are Saying,” our once a week paid-subscriber article where we feature rumors we’re hearing, inside gossip in the political world, and projects and pieces we’re working on that we haven’t published yet.
This week:
Brent Hagenbuch accuses Current Revolt of being mean to his staff!
Collin County Precinct Chair Files Police Report Against Fellow Precinct Chair?
Dems want to ban alcohol in Nacadoches?
Professional race-baiter, Dr. James Whitfield LOSES his lawsuit!
Brent Hagenbuch Says Current Revolt is a Bunch of Meanies?
At a campaign event last night, Brent Hagenbuch, who is running for SD30, claimed that he truly lives in SD30 and that someone was mean to his staff.
The incident with the employee that Hagenbuch is likely referring to is when we visited his “home” in SD30, which also happened to be his corporate office.
Watch the video here and decide for yourself if Hagenbuch’s staff was treated poorly or rudely during our visit:
Frankly, asking your employees to cover for your residency questions would seem to be quite rude.
Either way, Hagenbuch has secured additional endorsements despite the recent controversies. Well known conservative and former candidate for governor, Don Huffines, endorsed Hagenbuch earlier this week. Additionally, former (current?) Pale Horse President and conservative Jonathan Stickland Twitter-liked the tweet of the Hagenbuch endorsement. Is it fair to say Stickland supports Hagenbuch?
The grassroots don’t seem to feel the same though.
We used the Current Revolt Artificial Intelligence Supercomputer to give us a theoretical representation of what Brent Hagenbuch’s office/home looks like and this is what it gave us.
Collin County Precinct Chair Files Police Report Against Fellow Precinct Chair
Earlier this week, we covered a Collin County GOP meeting where a mini-scuffle broke out. The video after the incident can be viewed here:
Now we’ve heard that the police are involved.
