40% of Austin School Busses Have No Air Conditioning
Climate change has teamed up with racism for an unstoppable combo.
I just sold my truck for a smart car that runs on peanut oil to fight climate change.
What have you done? Literally nothing.
Austin Independent School District may take some heat on Monday for not having air conditioning on all its buses. August is typically the hottest month of the year in Austin. That’s why the Leander, Round Rock, Georgetown, Eanes and San Marcos school districts have added AC to all their buses. Austin ISD is making progress, but about a third of students who ride to school on the bus will have no air conditioning during this summer's record-setting heat.
"It was hot," said Austin ISD school bus driver Rubi Campuzano.
Campuzano started driving school buses in 2014. Back then her bus did not have air conditioning and she remembers how sweaty she and the students got in August and September. Campuzano is now behind the wheel of an air conditioned bus and says it makes a big difference, especially in the afternoons.
"It's a lot cooler. It's a lot cooler," said Campuzano.
Austin ISD has a budget of $1.7B.
How much does it cost to throw a couple AC units on a school bus?
It’s a lot less than $1.7B, I can tell you that.
Guaranteed this guy can do an install for $79.
They have about 500 busses, 200 of which have no AC. Imagine having a $1.7B budget but you can’t figure out air conditioning.
Hopefully they are turning off the AC on all busses in the name of equity and racial justice. It would be far from the weirdest thing they do in this district.
Austin ISD is ground zero for whacked-out educational experiments on children. They even have a Diversity office with an Equity Team. The staff has a combined salary of $357k.
Personally, I applaud these people for having created an entire career out of the anti-white agenda. It’s a job with no end in sight, and their grievances against the white devils are limited only by their imagination.
The science is clear — kids will be more receptive to learning about how classrooms with rigorous academic standards are “oppressive and alienating” for black students if they aren’t having to deal with the systemic oppression of a sweaty crack.
Five figure$+ to swindle and brainwash kiddos.
