Abbott’s Billion Dollar DEI Scam Challenged in Lawsuit
Despite the DEI ban, funding continues to flow.
Greg Abbott’s goons filed a motion to dismiss a lawsuit challenging Texas’s HUB program, but the plaintiff, Aerospace Solutions, is punching back hard.
In a response filed last month, the company’s lawyers say Texas is openly discriminating based on race and sex, aggressively harming businesses owned by white men. Aerospace Solutions claims real damage, pointing to lost contracts and unfair treatment under Abbott’s HUB rules.
They stress the state has provided no valid reason to justify the discrimination. This is because, of course, no rational justification exists.
Abbott’s motion to dismiss the lawsuit seeking to abolish the DEI HUB program comes after the hypocritical Abbott issued an executive order to end all DEI programs in Texas.
If you think this is a massive scam—welcome to Texas. We’re full of ‘em.
But the reality is even worse than the above article suggests.
Imagine you work for the government in Texas. Maybe you work at a city, or at the county, a school district, a public university, or a special utility district.
These jobs are different than a private corporation, but fundamentally they work in the same way—your job as a government employee exists to solve problems and meet community needs. As you do your work, you will encounter a problem that needs to be solved. An unexpected maintenance cost, routine inspection work, or a special project.
It’s not a big deal, because you are a professional, and you know what to do. You could be:
A department head at the city, and you need a new industrial pressure washer to replace one that failed to keep the city clean.
A Department of Transportation project manager who needs to make a bulk purchase of new safety cones.
A special utility district manager needing to buy a generator.
Once you realize you have a problem to solve, the very first thing you must do is stop what you are doing and search high and low for anyone who is not a white man to get a quote for a solution.
This is the law in the state of Texas.
Any purchase above $3,000 requires the government to proactively seek out vendors with a mandate to exclude white men and only white men.
The scope of this regulation is enormous, and it is certainly the largest hidden DEI tax, and possibly the largest overall hidden tax in America, mandating an additional 2-3 days to every project of significance as state workers are forced to prioritize random non-whites and women when doing business across every industry.
We are talking about hundreds of thousands of purchases across 5,000+ Texas governmental entities that must do the Diversity Two-Step to do literally anything.
Very few people know about this program, unless they are the ones being forced to endure this humiliation ritual.
The administrative cost alone is massive at this scale, and the lost opportunity cost of delaying nearly every project by several days to fulfill this anti-white agenda is incalculable.
Texas Republicans talk a big game about cutting government waste, so why the silence on this? Texans deserve answers.
I thought abbot banned DEI last session? Maybe he was milking it for this session.
DEI is the biggest scam, go walk into your Human Resources Department and detail the diversity you observe. Yet HR are the ones always lecturing about DEI except when it applies to them then not so much.
