A federal bankruptcy judge ruled yesterday that Alex Jones’ Infowars assets could be used pay off the $1.5 billion awarded to Sandy Hook families when Alex Jones exercised his right to free speech.
Infowars media platform and its assets will be sold off piece by piece in auctions this fall to help pay the more than $1 billion he owes relatives of victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, under an order expected to be approved by a federal judge.
It also seems Sandy Hook famlies could be collecting payment from a Texas Gun store.
Central Texas Gun Works (CTGW) filed for Chapter 11 this month, and it appears they owe money to a long list of people, including Alex Jones’ bankruptcy estate.
$35,732.79 is owed to Jones’ bankruptcy estate. The exact reason for the claim is unknown, but after a judge found Jones guilty of questioning Sandy Hook, he has been facing judgments ranging from $1.5 billion to $2.75 trillion.
Other’s owed money by CTGW include:
Small Business Association (potentially for a very large loan)
Title Max (loan?)
Kash Advance (loan??)
Speedy Funding (loan???)
Recent payments made by the CTGW include $43,800 to American Bump Stock Company.
$900k owed to SBA and a payment of $44k to American Bump Stock Company? Taxpayer-funded bumpstocks? Maybe!
CTGW is owned by Michael Cargill, who recently won a lawsuit against the ATF for the federal ban on bump stocks.
An Austin gun shop owner succeeded Friday on a years-long quest to overturn a federal ban on bump stocks, winning a 6-3 victory from the U.S. Supreme Court.
The case was filed by Michael Cargill, the owner of Central Texas Gun Works and an outspoken proponent of gun rights in Texas, after he surrendered two bump stocks to the ATF. He argued that ATF incorrectly identified bump stocks as machine guns, and overstepped its power in banning them. He brought the case with the support of the advocacy group the New Civil Liberties Alliance.
The bump stock ban came into place under the Trump administration in 2017.

Is Jones appealing this case or has he? This is a travesty of justice in every way possible. As to the gun store... it sounds an awful lot like government retaliation to me.
