Is this common for people to commit crimes and flee back to Mexico?

Surely this is just a one-off thing.

CBS Austin:

Police are asking for the public's help in locating the suspect from a fatal shooting at a club in Northeast Austin back in May.

It happened Saturday, May 21, at Club Lobos, located at 9601 North I-35, just north of the East Rundberg Lane intersection.

Club Lobos looks crunk.

Just kidding.

Looks like a gay Mexican sausage fest.

Speaking of.

APD says 20-year-old Osmar Escobar is wanted on a first-degree murder warrant. He is considered armed and dangerous. If you know his whereabouts do not approach him -- call 9-1-1.

After the fatal shooting, APD said detectives believed Escobar fled the United States to Mexico -- right now, it's unclear if that information has changed.

What a sweetheart.

This killing was 9 weeks ago, and they say he immediately fled to Mexico.

Police say they believe he is still in Mexico, but they want help locating him?

I think it’s best we just cut our losses and let him stay. That way, we can go with a more permanent solution instead of constantly exchanging criminals.
