BREAKING: Abbott Vows to End Birth Tourism Immediately, in 189 Days
"American Citizenship Is Not For Sale"
Big developments on the “Have My Baby In Texas” front.
First: hours after our story ran about a website promoting birth tourism, havemybabyintexas.com vanished from the internet. The site survived three years of billboards and about six hours of Current Revolt coverage. We draw no conclusions.
Then this morning, Governor Abbott ordered HHSC to “immediately and thoroughly investigate” Mission Regional Medical Center.
The letter references criminal referrals, sanctions, and penalties! “American citizenship is not for sale.”
And the law that could actually end this? “I will also work with the Texas Legislature next session to strengthen state law and eliminate birth tourism in Texas.”
Next session convenes January 12, 2027. That is 189 days from today. Twenty-seven weeks. Half a year. Long enough that every expectant mother on Earth currently past her first trimester will deliver before the Legislature is sworn in — a number of them, presumably, at competitive South Texas package rates of only $3,950.
Rep. Brian Harrison already requested the faster option, urging a special session to “MAKE IT A FELONY TO ENGAGE IN BIRTH TOURISM IN TEXAS.” Texans, he said, “deserve action, not just rhetoric.”
These billboards up in foreign countries are the size of a building. The fix is at least 189 days away.

Somebody needs to flatten his tires or better yet.. take the wheels off.
Another pathetic example of the Governor who wishes to President.
