On an X space, Rhein Amacher, the source of the Talarico audio, stated he initially shopped the audio and story to Sara Gonzales of The Blaze and Daily Mail but that it didn’t pass their legal check.
Current Revolt’s story on the story highlighted the fact that the timeline didn’t add up.

There you have it. The facility would not be able to confirm or deny if Talarico had been a patient there without violating HIPPA.
However, if he never had been, they could legally say that.
