The agenda for Monday’s meeting of Southlake Carroll ISD’s Board of Trustees includes a resolution stating the district’s intent to leave the Texas Association of School Boards, or TASB. The move would make the consistently #1 rated public school district in Texas the first to disassociate from the association which currently claims all Texas school districts as members.
TASB is what school districts in Texas use to pool resources together to buy legal services, among other things. The association has been criticized in recent years for its increasingly obvious left-wing political agenda.
Sources tell Current Revolt the board has the votes to pass the resolution.
The DFW-area district was the first in Texas to establish a beachhead against critical race theory after backlash to an insane Marxist takeover plan activated an army of parents and community members to take control of their children’s education.
The success of parents in the district has been used as a model for the right wing majority of Texas parents who want traditional scholarship, not Marxism and a climate change cult, to be the foundation of Texas children’s education.
The backlash against what parents said was critical race theory (CRT) created its own left-wing backlash in the form of multinational corporations harassing the townspeople.
NBC Universal, an international corporation with revenues exceeding $39 billion and an employee headcount larger than the population of Southlake, led the charge with an unhinged vendetta to punish the small town for disagreeing with CRT.
The media used billions of dollars to try and paint the town as full of racist skin haters. It was really goofy to follow the story, as they were having to invent racism out of thin air to justify their obsession.
Since the contentious school board meeting in August 2020, right-wingers have swept every election with landslide victories. We previously covered a left-wing candidate in a Southlake Carroll election who ran a chat room where adults could talk to sexually curious kids. One of the lefist board members has apparantly gone AWOL and no longer attends meetings despite still being on the board. She’s even absent from the official group photo.
After several 40+ point losses in a row, there are no left-wing challengers on the ballot for the May election.
They’ve got quite a thing here, apparently.
There is no stopping good people when they come together for a common cause. Thank you Jesus!
