CAIR Suddenly Removed as Host for 2026 Texas Islamic Games
Islamic Games also to be hosted in Houston.
After Current Revolt reported that the 2026 Islamic Games in Colleyville were being sponsored by CAIR, readers noticed that CAIR was suddenly removed as a sponsor.
Several people responded to news of the games being held on school property including Ryan James Girdusky , Founder of the 1776 Project PAC:
State Board of Education member, Brandon Hall, also commented stating he was opposed to a CAIR sponsored event using school facilities:
Rep. Jared Patterson issued a press release notating the bill he filed in the 89th Legislative Session (HR 971) highlighting concerns with CAIR:
Rep. Jeff Leach was one of the first to notice that CAIR was removed as a sponsor on the Islamic Games sponsor page:
Readers also noticed that Houston was an additional location added as a host for 2026 Islamic Games in October. The event is to be held at Bridgeland High School in Cypress.
No word on how this organization’s event went unnoticed by school boards and how they were able to rent out the school’s facilities without the board being notified.

Fantastic investigative work here. The oversight gap is whatreally stands out to me - how does a school district rent facilities for an event without board notification? Seen this kind of process breakdwon at my own local ISD and it almost always points to either understaffing or deliberate circumvention of normal approval chains.
Thank you for always holding people’s feet to the fire and uncovering the dastardly details. That’s where they say the devil is found and, in this case, it was 100% true. Appreciate you, Current Revolt, and everyone else responsible for keeping my community safe.
