CD 32 Forum Review
Hosted by Dallas Express
The Dallas Express hosted a political forum featuring the candidates from the new, provocatively re-drawn Congressional District 32.
You can watch the entire 2-hour live-recorded debate here:
Candidates in attendance included:
Abteen Vaziri
Monty Montanez
Darrell Day
Jace Yarbrough
Paul Bondar
Ryan Binkley
Current Revolt was on-site live-posting the debate questions and responses on X. You can find the entire thread here:
Candidates were asked about everything from the biggest issues facing the district to whether they believed ICE actions in Minnesota were appropriate.
The candidates were generally right of center with their responses, with all agreeing with President Trump’s actions regarding ICE enforcement.
Particularly interesting questions surrounding H-1B and immigration bans were also asked.
Candidates were unanimous in agreement that the H1-B program is rife with fraud and that it was a net-negative. Most stated that America had plenty of talent here and that there wasn’t a need to outsource talent from foreign countries.
On immigration bans:
Vaziri - Ban on immigration from Iran. (Vaziri is Iranian)
Montanez - Ban on immigration from Iran, China, and countries considered foreign adversaries.
Day - Full ban on immigration for five years.
Yarbrough - Opposes Hart Celler Act.
Bondar - Says immigrants need to assimilate to American culture and that if we don’t enforce that, we will be beaten from the inside out. Supports slowing immigration.
Binkley - Supports ban on immigration from countries that support communism and Sharia law. Said speaking English as a first-language was important.
You can watch the video link above or read the thread of questions and answers here.
Speaking to forum audience members who were not associated with campaigns, most came out supporting (in no particular order) Yarbrough, Binkley, and Montanez. Audience members expressed concerns of age for some candidates as well as appreciated business experience from others.
American Jewish Conservatives, who was also a sponsor of this forum, is hosting a large debate for Agriculture Commissioner featuring Sid Miller and Nate Sheets.
Tickets for that event can be purchased here.

I feel positive about the direction Texas is taking
Wasn't Binkley a character in Bloom County? ;)
