A former Democrat campaign staffer went public on social media explaining why Texas Democrats struggle with campaigning online.
In a video posted to TikTok, a staffer known in Democrat circles for viral Gen Z style TikTok videos, described leaving a comfortable DNC role in early 2026 to join what she describes as a “smaller” Texas campaign. The campaign turned out to be Gina Hinojosa for Governor:
