Ray Lopez (D-HD125) filed a bill that would create a gay task force using taxpayer dollars to study gay housing for gay seniors in the gay senior citizen community. Bisexuals get a rare shout out in the bill, which was noteworthy to other bisexuals.
House Bill 634 seeks to create this task force to specifically help gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, or “questioning” senior citizens.
It’s not stated what qualifies someone to fit into the “questioning” category. I certainly have a lot of questions about what they plan to do inside housing projects for seniors organized around sexual appetites. Does that make me “questioning?”
You should be questioning, too.
The bill also requires individuals selected for the task force be “appropriately qualified.”
How do you become appropriately qualified to be a member in the gay community?
Yikes.
Many people are calling it the Lemon Party Act.
Texas Democrats went all-in on pro-LGBTQ messaging this election cycle, which seemed to push normal Texans further to the right. It seems Democrats are sticking to the game plan despite the losses.
We’re not going to get in their way.
Thanks, Ray.
No word on the adult diaper budget I presume?
I’m wondering if questioning senior men will have access to tampons and be able to experience (men ah pause) since they may have missed the flare ups early in their quest for questioning
