Democrat Who IMPERSONATED White Man for Hate Hoax is Arrested
Feel free to judge him by the content of his character.
Taral Patel was arrested after police say he used an online alias along with the real photo of a Houston-area white man and his family to post inflammatory comments to stir up hatred against whites, Christians, and Republicans in an effort to drive donations in his campaign for County Commissioner.
According to an arrest warrant published by Covering Katy, Patel used a Facebook profile with the name Antonio Scalywag (LOL) to accuse himself and his friends of “worshiping monkey and elephant” along with other remarks that most people would deem offensive.
Patel is facing allegations that he created a fake social media account to post racist comments directed at himself to falsely make it appear he was the victim of racist attacks. Patel then issued a press release with a collage of the "attacks" that created local and worldwide media attention and drove donations to his campaign.
What a nice guy.
The warrant reveals the case against Patel, who is charged with two counts of Felony Online Impersonation and one Class A misdemeanor charge of Misrepresentation of Identity, a Texas Election Code violation.
“How did the campaign go?”
“Caught two felonies and a class A.”
Never a good response.
He even used the photo of a local white man and his family (kids included) as his profile picture as he attempted to stir up racial animosity.
This man’s campaign was so out of control that it was actually illegal.
Democrats ate it up, too. He won the primary using this hoax.
Patel, who is Hindu, pretended to be a Christian online to try and smear Christians for his own political gain.
Taral Patel can use these photos I made during his next election, free of charge.
Why did he think stealing someone’s identity to accuse himself of smelling like curry would help win him the election?
Democrats are so silly.
Silly or not, these are touching tributes to his historic candidacy — The Jussie Smollett of Texas.
Just a few months ago, Patel was riding high with his hate hoax.
The Houston Chronicle reported the fake news as real, even though it was obviously a hoax from the start.
Houston Chronicle: (September 2023)
The primary for Fort Bend County commissioners' court is not until May, but one candidate said last week he has already received a stream of racist and xenophobic messages from the public.
Taral Patel, vying for the Democratic nomination in next year’s election for the position of Precinct 3 commissioner, shared a collage of Facebook comments on social media and in campaign texts asking for donations. The comments accuse Patel of being a terrorist or a communist or make derogatory statements about Hinduism, which Patel practices.
The lowest and most disingenuous attack that someone can levy against a political competitor is that of the being a “white supremacist.”
It’s a popular Saul Alinsky-type attack used by untrustworthy Republicans when they want to gain a personal advantage over a perceived competitor, but Democrats have turned this smear into a literal industry.
As long as demand for the elusive “white supremacist” outpaces the supply, the hoaxes will continue.
The worst part is that this liar was believed far and wide. Shows how gullible and ignorant our general public has become. It also shows how a so called reputable newspaper from a huge city in the US is so lazy it reprints anything with absolutely no background check.
