Denton Passes Pro-Weirdo Ordinance
Denton once again tries to keep it’s status as diet Austin. Days ago, Denton City Council voted 5 - 2 for a non-discrimination ordinance (NDO) aimed at protecting the right of the LGBTXYZWTF community to make their oddities as public as possible, even letting them use any bathroom they want.
Being the fifth Texas city to do so, mental illness is now a right, with zero exemptions. As mentioned by lone sane Council member Jesse Davis, there are no religious exemptions (bake the cake bigot), and nothing ensuring men don’t waltz into women’s bathrooms. Peeping Toms are now legal in Denton.
Denton, once thought a decent place for human habitation, is infested with hipsters, sodomites, and “people” who want to murder anyone with the slightest distaste for their lifestyle choices, as was noticed when Jeff Younger tried to speak sanity to them.
Denton Council’s recent decision comes a little after a Younger event was assailed by degenerates and Antifa. As a result, this non-discrimination ordinance can be seen as capitulation to those shown below.
The happenings at Younger’s speaking engagement were not isolated occurrences. The aforementioned deviants doubled down in their fight for socially-imposed mental illness, even holding a campus march for it.
What Denton City Council showed is that these schizos are allowed free reign in their city, even with a Republican Mayor.
You might ask how this is possible in a city located in one of Texas’s “reddest” counties. For starters, it doesn’t help University of North Texas (UNT) is based in Denton, making it a hipster Hell college town. Instead of curtailing Leftist indoctrination and antics, or at least backing young actual conservatives on campus, many celebrated Lefties moving in as “growth,” despite having zero benefits (the more men donning women’s “skinny” jeans, the more rent goes up).
Self-proclaimed Republicans also fail in not only defending young activists standing for conservative ideas, but conserving those ideas themselves. Young Conservatives of Texas (YCT) UNT chapter head Kelly Niedert not only had to fend off Antifa, but also local faux conservatives who slandered her as hateful and intolerant.
“Official Statement from UNT YAF
We, at the Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) on the UNT campus, would like to officially condemn the recent events involving the Young Conservatives of Texas. It is clear to us, as it is to most conservative circles in and around Denton County, that this organization is a radioactive force to conservatism as a whole and should be treated as such. They have demonstrated time and time again that intellectual honesty and good faith takes a back seat to publicity, regardless of the cost. It is time that we recognize that they are not representative of conservatism in any way, shape, or form, and they never have been. We recognize that they are somewhat of a popular entity among the campus left. For every time there is an incident involving them, the campus left makes no substantial effort to put an end to it. The reason is obvious; YCT fits the left’s archetypical strawman of what conservatives are and how they act: a mean spirited, incoherent, and contemptible collective of radicals. We can see the destructive symbiotic relationship between YCT and the campus left. Without them, the left doesn't have a legitimate hatred for conservatives, but the same is also true vice versa. Without the campus left, YCT wouldn't have a reason to exist. It is abundantly clear that the name of YCT cannot be divorced from the name Kelly Neidert. While on paper they may claim to be under new management, the truth speaks for itself. Ms. Neidert rules over the organization as a self-admitted dictator, never allowing a true democratic transition of leadership. One can cite the organization's new so-called president, Stephen Moitz’s, acceptance speech in which he stated that “[he] will continue in the spirit of Kelly and her character”. From her actions, we can discern that Ms. Neidert is using the organization to launch herself into a career in media. If she can manufacture more outrage by provoking the campus left, she can create the narrative that the left is evil. In her mind, such narratives are attractive to media outlets. She has even explicitly stated that one of her only goals is to get an interview on Fox News and appear on television. To Ms. Neidert, these shallow-minded goals justify the irrational and toxic behavior of YCT. We cannot stress enough how important it is to set a better precedent for what conservatism truly is on campus. Conservatism is not the utter nonsense that YCT espouses. The freedom to say what you please is a conservative value. The freedom to associate with people of your choosing is a conservative value. The advocacy of basic human rights is a conservative value. YCT has demonstrated that they have little to no regard for these values and has shown us that they are willing to toss those values to the wayside and put their members in danger if it means getting their name in the paper. We have had countless former YCT members come to us saying the same. Anyone who would like to genuinely engage with conservatism is welcome at YAF. We may have different policy solutions, but at the end of the day we are all Americans who just want the best for our community.
Best, UNT YAF Officers

Should we be surprised though, considering nationwide conservative figures routinely refuse to defend traditional morals? It would explain the lack of public GOP pushback against matters like the Denton NDO.
Instead of pettily tone-policing activists promoting actual conservatism, we at Current Revolt advise supporting them. The Right’s tendency to “play nice” with Leftists, and blubber over mean words from our own side is why we keep retreating (and created the 2016 NeverTrump phenomenon).
In reality, people like Niedert, Younger, and others deserve our support, and Denton’s deviant NDO should be repealed and resisted in any way possible. If this is too hard for you to accept, just remember that the alternative is not merely another Austin, but another city subverted beyond repair.
