One thing they did do was allow locals to stay and work in the casinos. I watched many retire that before the casinos would of remained in poverty, because these people would of never left their hometown. Biloxi will never be the same.

Casinos ruined the gulf coast. Biloxi, MS.
Before the casinos it was a family town.
One thing they did do was allow locals to stay and work in the casinos. I watched many retire that before the casinos would of remained in poverty, because these people would of never left their hometown. Biloxi will never be the same.
Neither will Lake Charles, where I was raised & lived before moving to TX in 2004. This was one of the big reasons we moved.
