There’s a lot to say about the election results last night. It turns out the polls were wrong, the polls actually underestimated Democrats. The prediction markets were right.

Texas midterm prediction: Republicans lose statewide offices for the first time since 1994 (or come dangerously close).
This isn't endemic to Texas going blue. The Texas Republican Party is flaccid and brought this on itself.

I will say this, if the TX GOP continues to let the people who were in charge during this loss continue to lead the party, expect to keep losing.
