Update: A response by former chairwoman Jennifer Stoddard-Hajdu at the end of the article.
A letter which CC’d the Texas Ethics Commission was sent to the former Chair of the Dallas County GOP, Jennifer Stoddard-Hajdu. The letter was sent by the new Chairman, Allen West, and alleges that Hajdu has been uncooperative in the transition of data and materials to newly elected West.
Included in the list of materials Hajdu is alleged to have failed to turn over includes donor contact information and email lists.
Current Revolt has been provided video screenshots which purportedly show a substantial amount of data was exported from the party’s email service *after* Hajdu’s electoral defeat, but *before* West took over the Dallas GOP. The video also seems to show the original data set as being deleted.
Additional video we were provided shows that exports, numbering 13,634 contacts, to have been performed by someone using an account bearing the name of SREC Committeewoman Susan Fountain.
If the allegations against Hajdu and her team are true, then it shows direct interference with the ability for the Dallas GOP to function or even grow as a party. If the email list has been deleted or significantly altered, and not fully provided to Chairman West, the Party may end up having to build a database from scratch.
How exactly does this help get Republicans elected?
It should be noted that Dallas County voted overwhelmingly for Allen West.
Jennifer Stoddard-Hajdu Responds
Jennifer Hajdu has submitted a response to West’s allegations and can be read below:
In the above, Hajdu states that the party never kept a donor list (!?) and that the FEC and TEC websites were used to identify donors. She also confirms the copying and exporting of data and that she was allowed to under TEC rules.
How did that lady get elected with such a ridiculous name?
Should have known from the hyphen in her last name her tenure was going to be a mess.
That's minor league compared to what the previous imbeciles in Denton County did. Good on Allen for fighting back against the criminal tyranny of the establishment.
Denton County decided to concede and "unify" with their opposition and has gotten nothing in return. No one likes endless bickering but if you don't nip it in the bud quick it will spread faster than a virus going from SD12 to SD30.
