I personally don't see how e-verify is the solution. They are already here. Unless you deport them all alongside e-verify. If all you do is let illegals into the country and make sure they can't get jobs, then you've created a total criminal, gang population millions. People gotta eat, if no jobs, no food. So if you pass e-verify then it needs to pass with an immediate deportation round up by ICE and the army. And that includes the legally born children here in the USA. Either you keep the illegals out completely or e-verify does not work.

Children of illegal aliens born here are recipients of stolen goods and typically hold citizenship of their parent’s home countries. If something is obtained through fraud it cannot be legal.

Don't worry. If EVerify is effective, it will never happen in Texas. Wealthy and generous donors want cheap labor and will pay anything to get it. Texas Republicans from the top down do the bidding of the big donors. Why do you think Abbott let all those illegals in, refusing to do anything about it but blame Biden? Because he's for sale. If Texas voters don't hurry and wake up, i.e., stop voting for any Republican who says s/he's a conservative, and start doing their homework, Texas will soon be blue. One of the very few conservatives in the Texas House, Tony Tinderholt, has announced that he will not run again, and who can blame him? He's drowning in the Austin sewer and Texas voters keep electing sewer rats (Democrats with Rs by their names). That's why we can't get good and important bills passed. Even Dan Patrick is in on it. Duh! We get what we tolerate and we seem to be willing to tolerate most anything.

How do you do your homework?
