Fact Check: Dan Patrick Collecting Genital Scans for AI Database

A situation we are monitoring closely.

The Dallas Observer reported that DFW International Airport denied any involvement in a notice that was allegedly spotted inside a bathroom at the airport, according to a concerned citizen posting on Reddit. The sign implied that airport toilets had integrated cameras which were being used to train AI models using “machine vision” to analyze genitals, and that Lt. Governor Dan Patrick was behind it!

Upon reviewing this report by the Observer, Current Revolt launched a full investigation into the matter, determined to deliver the truth to our readers.

First, we went to DFW Airport, the alleged source of the sign. Things appeared normal at first—no planes landing upside down, etc.

Then we made our way into the bathroom.

Yep.

That photo is actually showing where the sinks and soap used to be—now replaced with extra urinals and cameras.

We went to another terminal. Arguably a little better with privacy dividers.

However, we found some bathrooms had more aggressive cameras.

Once you get passed TSA into the main part of the airport, the situation degrades significantly.

Hard to believe those are real and not more AI.

Determined to know how widespread the EGV program was, we made our way to Dallas Love Field.

Shockingly, no notices were posted warning about the toilets, and your right to opt out of the data collection.

These are jokes, and this story is obviously not real. I mean, the Observer did report on this, so the story is real in that someone posted something online which was reported by someone else online.

But this story cannot be real, because the federal government has a monopoly on naked body scanning at the airport, and it was obvious that Dan Patrick did not have the power to break into that market, even if there is a niche market opportunity in toilet camera AI.

The Texas Newspaper of Record declares this story to be fake news.
