GOP Candidate Paying Democrat Consultant Firm?
Interesting...
San Antonio-area Republican State Rep. John Lujan is seemingly making payments to a Democratic consultant’s LLC to avoid appearing to pay her directly.
Lujan’s recent FEC report shows him paying more than $26,000 to a “Power Box Promotions LLC,” a company based in San Antonio.
Power Box Promotions is owned by Democrat operative Leticia Cantu, who’s become infamous from her time backing San Antonio Democrats.
Previously, Lujan had made direct payments to Cantu totaling $18,889.38
Voter records show Cantu is a Democratic primary voter, listed as a “Hard Democrat” in the GOP Voter Database.
Having a Democrat aid him isn’t out of character for Lujan. Early this year, Lujan suggested amnesty for illegal aliens:
“I think we need a strong border,” said John Lujan, a Texas state representative who’s running in a newly drawn congressional seat. “But the other thing that really bothers me is that some of the people that are here that have been great citizens — family, history, businesses — we can’t just throw those people over.”
In San Antonio politics however, there’s supposedly benefits for Republicans who work with Cantu. According to a source, it may or may not have gotten Lujan the backing of Josh Cortez, an ex-primary rival candidate.
On Kalshi, Lujan is currently at a 13% chance of winning the Republican primary for TX-35 against Carlos De La Cruz:

U.S. Tungsten Revival: A National Security Priority
The Pentagon has committed nearly $10 million to restart domestic Tungsten production. President Trump signed Project Vault — a $12 billion critical minerals stockpile initiative to break foreign dependence.
The conflict in Iran has underscored the urgent need: Tungsten is essential for thousands of drones, missiles, and ammunition. This isn’t just a metal — it’s national resilience.
Vault Strategic Mining (KNXFF) is positioned at the center of this shift. They’re assembling one of the most strategic Tungsten portfolios in the U.S. by acquiring historic mines in mining-friendly states and applying modern exploration techniques.
Their flagship project in Nevada is a proven WW2-era Defense Minerals mine. With Tungsten prices near record highs and Washington actively funding domestic supply chains, Vault is revitalizing the very resource that once helped defend the free world — now securing America’s future.
