Maybe if the parents were actually allowed to vote on it, rather than have 1 grumpy guy speak for all parents in the state, then there would be no bill to veto in the first place
Now that we know more, it does seem like these things would be better voted on by the people. I also think there is a place for marijuana, medicinally and recreationally, but not marketed it in the way it is and sold in consumables with genetically modified high THC.
I’m told that a good grower can get it up to 30% THC, and that is still pushing how strong it should be in my mind. When they make it into consumables and shoot for as close to 100% as possible because it’s gonna be sold for more money and drive more tax revenue, that’s what is hurting the young people Who don’t know what hit them, because they think it’s just a plant and it’s no worse than alcohol
