Genius takes Demoncrat money and then files as Republican
The 2026 primary election started with a LOL when Texas Democrat Jasmine Crockett released an ad for her Senate campaign where the viewer is told Crockett is “low IQ” a total of 3 times in 45 seconds.
Today, we are highlighting who is likely the smartest woman in Texas who, up until Monday, was a Democrat taking campaign donations from Democrats to run for Texas Railroad Commissioner. However, without any prior notice, she announced on social media that she actually filed to run as a Republican!
Right up until the election, Culbert was propping herself up as a Democrat. She was even taking donations through ActBlue:
Hilariously, and possibly most hilariously. reviews of her campaign website show she has slowly transition her campaign’s primary color from blue to purple to red over the last 2 years.
Look at this and try not to laugh.
Colbert has a very well documented history of progressive/liberal ideology which includes a Facebook banner with the words VOTE made up of a vagina and Black Lives Matter logo.
She’ll need to drop all that ASAP.
Not much explanation has been given by Culbert, who is an oil and gas professional and engineer. One theory is that while she has been doing these events with leaders in oil and gas as part of her campaign, she found out what normal people actually believe about the Democrats and realized that their party is a sinking ship.
Democrats are angry and in full panic about Culbert pulling a fast one on them. They are quite literally calling for help!
Lone Star Left, a progress news outlet covering Texas politics, even documents how Culbert reached out to LSL to be included in a list of Democrats running for office, only to file as a Republican weeks later:
