Houston Mayor Claims Virus Caused Murders
I’ve never heard of a virus that causes people to kill each other, but ok. Why not?
The Houston Police Department’s unofficial tally has recorded 339 murders in the Houston area this year — a drastic 44 percent increase from last year’s 235 murders.
…
According to Mayor Sylvester Turner, the pandemic and high crime rates are likely correlated.
“This has been a crazy year, people are going through a whole lot, experiencing a whole lot, a lot of things happening on our streets, a lot of people who are on edge,” Mayor Turner said during a press conference.
Two Houston police officers have been killed by suspects within the last month.
Killings are skyrocketing and the explanation we are being given is “there’s a lot of things happening.”
The corporate press has also been claiming for months that the virus is racist by pointing to statistics and implying there’s some white supremacist conspiracy hiding behind the data.
If the Houston Mayor were a Republican, every media outlet would add qualifiers to the Mayor’s statements like “falsely claims” or “without evidence” to these assertions that “the pandemic” is causing people to be murdered who otherwise wouldn’t have been murdered.
This is the same mayor, by the way, who outsmarted former GOP Chairman James Dickey and forced Republicans to cancel their state convention. So as dumb as Sylvester Turner may seem, he’s still able to outmaneuver Republicans with relative ease.
After all, if a virus is now a racist then beating an incumbent Democrat in an election is essentially a hate crime.
So please, if you encounter someone who makes a racist comment, please do not attempt to confront the individual.
Please call the Houston Police Department for assistance. They sure as hell would rather investigate racist jokes than respond to a call and helplessly be sacrificed on the alter of critical race theory so the Black Lives Matter gods won’t get angry and cause riots.
