Houston Citizen Threatened With Arrest At Gun Buyback Event
The city of Houston held a gun buyback event last week during which a savvy, local entrepreneur was threatened with arrest when he attempted to legally purchase guns from individuals at the buyback for a higher price than police were offering.
The capitalist in question was NuanceBro, a Youtube Political Commentator, King of Twitter Spaces, and Houston citizen. He attended the buyback in hopes of purchasing guns from other citizens, a completely legal activity, but was thwarted by the anti-capitalist Harris County Sheriff.
The deputies threatened him with arrest and criminal trespassing charges if he did not leave Alexander Deussen Park and cease his dangerous capitalist activities.
Last year, Houston’s gun buyback program stirred controversy and embarrassment for the city after individuals “gamed the system” by selling back 3D printed “Ghost Guns” in exchange for gift-cards.
One individual was able to rake in more than $3,000 in taxpayer-funded gift-cards in exchange for 62 3D printed guns that he claims cost him only $3 to make.
Nuance Bro broke down last year’s debacle here:
After being threatened by the Harris County Sheriff, Nuance Bro relocated to a public street where other entrepreneurs were also looking to purchase guns.
We were told some Houstonians were able to successfully purchase firearms from other local Houston citizens, but they were largely shutdown by the threats from the Sheriff.
We reached out to Harris County Sheriff, Ed Gonzales for comment, but our calls and messages have not been returned.
Allegedly, Harris County is well within their legal right to ban individuals from a city park for any reason. Although we wonder what limits exist with these sort of bans.
COVID proved that these tyrannical police will attempt to exert their power against the people far beyond their constitutional authority if so ordered.
This year’s program yielded around 800 guns, according to the city. That’s at least $40,000 in taxpayer money for gun control, and Nuance Bro wont be able to make a cool video shooting his new guns for us to enjoy on his YouTube channel. This sure sounds like the City of Houston is engaged in racketeering and tortuous interference to me.
Was the city just trying to avoid embarrassment for a second year in a row
were they using their monopoly power on force to stock their armory for pennies on the dollar?
I guess we will find out when the next plandemic drops, and cops start harassing and arresting women and children at city parks again.
