ISD Trustee May Have Lied On Dallas News Questionnaire
Dynette Davis was recommended by the Dallas News for Frisco ISD Place 4.
Did a Frisco ISD trustee lie on a Dallas Morning News questionnaire?
The Dallas Morning News has an editorial board known for making recommendations in elections. This year, they recommended incumbent Dynette Davis for Frisco ISD Place 4.
Davis has ably served Frisco during her time on the board. And she has supported excellence in a district known for its excellence.
In their questionaire, they asked Davis if she had ever been involved in any civil lawsuits or declared personal or professional bankruptcy. Davis answered no.
Documents sent to us by Frisco grassroots activists allege this is untrue.
Not only had Davis allegedly been involved in multiple lawsuits, but she had previously filed for bankruptcy.
Many of us have faced financial burdens and struggles throughout our lives, Davis is not unique in this respect; the issue is with her answer to The Dallas News questionnaire. Did Davis forget about her alleged bankruptcies before answering The Dallas News questionnaire? Did she purposely lie?
Did The Dallas News do any vetting to verify the information on candidates before giving their recommendation?
Many people are asking.
UPDATE 4/29: After our reporting, The Dallas Morning News issued a fact check on their questionnaire regarding Dynette Davis.
