James Talarico Yearbook Photos
Texas Senate Candidate was involved in politics early on.
Yearbook photos as well as a Facebook page belonging to Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico have surfaced showing an early interest in government.
A 2013 teaching page purportedly belonging to Talarico is still available on Facebook. It features Talarico asking students to write an “Obama memoir” as well as a wall displaying those memoirs:

Newsweek has reported several polls showing Talarico within margin of error of either John Cornyn or Ken Paxton:
The most recent poll of the race from Democratic-leaning pollster Public Policy Polling gave Talarico a lead against both Cornyn and Paxton. He led the incumbent Republican by one point (44 percent to 43 percent) and Paxton by two points (47 percent to 45 percent). That poll surveyed 576 voters from March 4-5, 2026 and had a margin of error of plus or minus 4.1 percentage points.
A survey from the University of Houston and YouGov found Cornyn leading Talarico by one point (44 percent to 43 percent), while Paxton led by two points (46 percent to 44 percent). It surveyed 1,502 likely voters between January 20 and 31, with a margin of error of plus or minus 2.5 percentage points.
Earlier, an Emerson College poll gave Cornyn a three-point lead over Talarico (47 percent to 44 percent), while Talarico and Paxton were tied at 46 percent. It surveyed 1,165 registered voters from January 10-12 and had a margin of error of plus or minus 2.8 percentage points.

There is a video clip on the Salem platform with this guy He's Nuts- but I haven't found that anywhere else so only behind a paywall but it is really good to hear His words out of his mouth!
Aren't government, debate, and theater the same things?
