James Younger's Mother Pushing for Final Court Date

After speaking with Jeff Younger, Current Revolt can confirm Anne Georgulas is pushing for a “check in” hearing. However, due to the fact that the court appointed councilors and requirements for seeing his sons have kept him away from them for months (more in this interview with Alex Stein), it is almost certain this is an opening move to start a termination hearing of his parental rights.

Important to note that Judge Mary Brown, the family court judge who enables Georgulas to pursue chemical and physical castration of her son, is due to leave office in early November. Critically, her vacant post will then be filled by the governor’s office. While Abbott has not had a good historical record of directly addressing the groomer issue, recently Ken Paxton and others have started to fix that. Georgulas likely wants to push the final decision through before a less friendly judge takes the bench.
