Charles Johnson Finally Goes to Jail
Charles “Chuck” Johnson, infamous online troll, conspiracy theorist, and self-proclaimed journalist, was found in contempt of court yesterday and sent to Johnson County Jail.
Current Revolt has long followed Chuck and his court drama after he lost a $70M judgement, one of the largest in US history.
Chuck refused to comply with court orders requiring him to answer questions during a deposition and was also accused of stealing a coffee mug and water bottles from a court office.
For the mug and water bottle theft, Chuck was fined $1,000 to be paid immediately.
Johnson was ultimately found to be in contempt of court for refusing to comply with court orders. He was sent to Johnson County Jail until he purges himself of contempt.
It was at this point that Chuck informed the court that he lacked the $1,000 to pay his court fines. He was handcuffed and escorted out of the court.

SBOE Member Outed As Gay by Divorcing Wife Casually Files for Reelection
A Jamaican-born Republican on the State Board of Education filed for reelection, unfazed by his wife publicly accusing him of running a double life and having secret relationships with men.
Just a week after his wife announced their divorce publicly on Facebook, complete with a string of bombshell accusations, LJ Francis popped back online to announce his reelection bid, cheesing in a solo photo without his family.
Francis, whose official biography describes him as a “dedicated family man,” appears to just be plowing ahead like nothing happened.

Before he could even finish a full term, his wife declared she was leaving him, hinting he’d been wrapped up in secret behavior with other men so nasty that exposing it would “destroy” Francis. You can read her full post in last week’s MPS here.
The revelations make his reelection race more interesting (not really). Many people are saying they’re closely watching to see whether Democrats will cross over and vote in the Republican Primary for Francis, given that he is alleged to possess the courage to do things to another man that would make most men vomit in slow-motion.
Just another weird thing going on, due to the fact that only weird people are willing to run for office and have their lives destroyed.
And honestly, can you blame anyone for staying out of it? Just look at how it turned out for this guy.
