I ran against Phil Graham in 1982 when he switched parties. I had no chance of winning. BUT it gave me a platform. One of my planks was directed energy beam weapons BEFORE REAGAN announced what was dubbed Star Wars. The special election was in February, Reagan annouced Star Wars in March. After my run they raised the cost of filing. Hmmmmmmm. I had multiple interviews with local newspapers up and down that gerrymandered district. I encourage people to run IF they have REAL campaign issues. It gives them a platform. And, IF they have real issues, they should be supported. Whether they can win or not is not the only measuring stick. The benefits of their run may show up in later elections.

I don't think "Doc" Chambers can win but I think it's worthwhile to run people against Abbott just on principle. He's the only one I didn't vote "grifter" although technically speaking maybe he still is.

For myself, I will vote for any of these alleged grifters before I vote for Abbott, Patrick Cornyn or any of the Republican snakes in office who have repeatedly betrayed us year after year. The most recent betrayal is the digital internet bill and before that caving in to the Real ID passage without protest reagrdless of the fact that Texans had rejected Real idea at the polls repeatedly over the years. They are worse than any grifter around.

I like Gomez’ ads. She has spunk.

Even if she doesn’t win, she has a platform to say what needs to be said.

The 2 candidates running on the Islam issue WILL garner support for that issue alone even though you seem to disparage those who speak on it. Very concerning to me if that is your stance on this deadly issue for America. In fact I am considering voting for Chip Roy whom I generally detest because of his position on the Islam issue and the fact that he is articulating it at all is commendable considering the cowards we have in office. If you belittle this threat which is rearing its ugly and violent head all over the world AND articulating their desired conquest of America or you have your head buried where the sun doesn't shine because it is glaringly obvious to our dogs even.

These people don’t actually care about Islam though. If they did, they would actually campaign and work to win their elections, but they don’t. They just autistically scream and rant about the same thing over and over to gain social media likes and attention and support from the lowest common denominator. Don’t fall for their BS.

I rarely 'fall' for anything but the fact that they are raising the issue and the danger posed to America and its people deserves credit and is worthy of merit. It is NOT BS at all. You might want to research Islam for yourself and just maybe offer those 2 candidates or three an apology The fact that I just witnessed my local SD9 race with all its mudslinging and a slew of falsehoods and skewing of information tells the real story not these candidates you bring up because they have little chance of winning for lack of funding. You should have done a deep dive into the Texas UniParty Cabal and how they operate and are tied in to the Tarrant County cabal AND their money supply. Just sayin'.
