Senator Schwertner Rumored to Step Down From Committee Chair Position
Senator Charles Schwertner, who was arrested this week on a DWI is rumored to be stepping down from his chair position on the Business & Commerce committee.
We’re hearing the potential replacement for Schwertner will be the current Vice-Chair, Phil King.
Although a freshman, we’re told King has the best chance for this spot.
