Earlier: One of the delegates the party wanted to expel, Amjad Muhtaseb, and delegate Samar Halabi in a heated exchange for several minutes with state Rep. @brentmoney, the founder of the Sharia-Free Texas Caucus.
They shook hands after.

The convention did NOT take a vote on expelling the two delegates with alleged ties to @CAIRNational, which Gov. Abbott has designated as a terrorist group.
The rules do not allow the convention to reject delegates this late in the process.
