Welcome to “Many People Are Saying,” our once a week article where we feature rumors we’re hearing, inside gossip in the political world, and other interesting things going on in our great state of Texas.

THIS WEEK:

  • Terrorist leader Benjamin Song captured in Dallas.

  • Endless unserious people continue to run for office in Texas.

  • TEC fines, shady donors, and Republicans taking cash from Democrats.

Insurrectionist Leader Benjamin Song Arrested in Dallas

Benjamin Song was arrested while hiding out in a Dallas apartment. Song is accused of leading an Antifa group in a highly coordinated ambush on an ICE facility in Texas, during which he allegedly shot and wounded a city police officer using an AR-15 equipped with a gimmicky trigger, which promptly jammed, ending the revolution before it started. The attacks on ICE officers across the country has many people saying that Democrats are attempting an armed insurrection against the government—unlike the mostly peaceful (and unarmed) protests of January 6th 2021 in which patriots protested a stolen election.

Song is being held on a $15 million bond.

Benjamin’s about to experience the diversity and inclusion of the federal penitentiary firsthand.

Careful with that soap, Benny!

But before you can grift off of being a failed candidate you actually have to file to run. Such is the case with several candidates running for office here in Texas.
