In a story that went viral on X yesterday, it was revealed that a substantial number of MAGA influencers took payment in exchange for putting out pro-India posts.
was one of the first accounts on X to notice and quickly saved the pro-India posts.




Several accounts would later apologize for their posts:
Accounts on X have alleged that Ryan Fournier and a man named Bryden Reed out of North Carolina are behind the undisclosed paid pro-India posts. Reed runs a company called Old North State Consultants which sources tell us is behind the paid-for posts.
Current Revolt reached out to Reed for comment, he initially said he would call us to explain the paid posts, after Charlie Kirk spoke out against the paid posts, Reed would ghost us and no longer responding to messages.
Current Revolt will continue monitoring this situation.
Rep. Jared Patterson Was Censured
Last night the Denton County Republican Party held a special meeting where they voted to censure Rep. Jared Patterson.
Rep. Patterson did not attend the meeting but Mitch Carney did attend to speak in defense of Rep. Patterson, mostly reading talking points from a letter Rep. Patterson emailed out the night before.
In closed session and with a secret ballot, the county would later pass the vote to censure Rep. Patterson with 25 for and 11 against.
Censures for Rep. Charlie Geren and Rep. Jay Dean would fail last night as reported by Brad Johnson.
Former District Director for Republican Shopping Story?
Yesterday, the former district director for an incumbent Republican asked Current Revolt how much we pay for stories.
