Monitoring the Situation (3/31/25)
New TX AG candidates on the horizon? Current Revolt to attend wild school board meeting.
Situations we’re monitoring:
Gimmigrant News Wire
Now that a Republican President is finally putting Americans first, illegal aliens and questionable guests in Texas are beginning to wind down their reign of terror
The gimmigrant news wire is reporting that Trump’s boys caught a 10-Timer, and slapped him with charges for smuggling 19 others.
Deported 9 times in 10 years? What a sweet guy.
Many such cases.
Thankfully, the immigration insanity is proving to have some benefits, and Texas may have just pioneered a way to new levels of prosperity: simply seizing the assets of questionable people.
A pair of Chinese were caught in North Texas with $250k of gold, which local police officers stole.
We’re rich.
The best part is my Temu coupons are still working, so China hasn’t retaliated.
We will continue to monitor the Chinese and Mexican crisis.
New Attorney General Candidates to Follow Paxton?
With AG Ken Paxton considering a run against Sen. John Cornyn, several names have started to pop up as potential candidates to fill the Texas AG spot.
Rep. Mitch Little
Multiple posts on Facebook have started popping up suggesting that the freshman state representative is considering a run for Texas Attorney General.
Senior Advisor to AG Ken Paxton, Michelle Smith, posted some words of support around the idea of a Mitch Little run for AG:
The post was later deleted and Smith provided clarification:
Aaron Reitz
Many people are saying that Republican Aaron Reitz is also considering a run for Texas AG.
Aaron Reitz was recently confirmed as Trump’s Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Policy. Prior to joining Trump’s team, Reitz spent nearly three years as the Deputy Attorney General for Legal Strategy under Ken Paxton, and more recently as the Chief of Staff for Senator Ted Cruz.
During his tenure, the Texas Attorney General's Office threatened the nation's largest banks that so-called ESG investing strategies discriminating against oil and other fossil fuel companies could result in legal action. The office also sued Planned Parenthood to halt the distribution of abortion pills.
"Aaron Reitz is an anti-abortion extremist who has dedicated his career to blocking Texans from accessing reproductive health care," Freya Riedlin, an attorney at the Center for Reproductive Rights, said in a statement. "Now, President Trump has given him the keys to the DOJ."
Current Revolt to Attend HEB ISD Meeting Today
Last week, a video was released that showed a white student beaten unconscious by a black student while teachers stood by, coffee in hand, watching, before eventually offering a failed attempt to ask the attacker nicely to stop. A student then steps in to stop the attack.
Parents, rightfully furious, are planning on expressing their frustrations with staff at the Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD meeting tonight.
We’ll be on site with updates and interviews with parents. More to follow.
Ortiz Discusses Influenceable on the Alex Stein Show
Last week, a political celebrity management company was offering paid gigs to MAGA celebs to post in favor of taxpayer funded SODA.
Alex Stein invited Current Revolt publisher, Tony Ortiz, to discuss the story.
Watch here:
Especially disturbing to me was the bystanders never once went to the injured kid’s aid after the attacker was pulled off. I do not understand the lack of compassion.
PLEASE give us feedback on that HEB school board meeting.
