The Texas political candidate with the highest entertainment-to-electability ratio has been identified as Maureen Galindo, a sex therapist with views on Jewish people so spicy it would make Esala Wueschner blush.
The situation is so cartoonish it’s actually suspicious.

Democratic leaders are condemning Texas congressional candidate Maureen Galindo over her latest round of antisemitic comments.
Anytime a news story opens with something involving your “latest round” of anything, it’s probably not good.
Galindo, who finished first in the Democratic primary for Texas’ 35th Congressional District and is in a runoff election against Bexar County Sheriff’s Deputy Johnny Garcia. Democratic leaders in Washington and Texas have backed Garcia amidst a mysterious six-figure advertising campaign to boost Galindo, a sex therapist and housing advocate.
Ok, so she provides sex therapy?
Anyone else suddenly feel the urge to go to a Bernie Sanders rally and support unlimited universal healthcare?
So what are her positions?
Last weekend, Galindo said in an Instagram post that she intends to write legislation to “turn Karnes ICE Detention Center into a prison for American Zionists and former ICE officers for human trafficking.”
“It will also be a castration processing center for pedophiles which will probably be most of the Zionists,” Galindo wrote on Instagram in a carousel accusing Garcia of being “paid by Zionist terrorism and trafficking.”
The proposal is the latest in a line of antisemitic comments Galindo has made, which include saying that Jews run Hollywood and worship the “synagogue of Satan.”
Totally normal she got six figure donation as a sex therapist. Definitely no Republicans involved here.
But 38-year-old Maureen Galindo, a self-described ‘single mom of three,’ holds neither a doctorate in psychology nor a psychologist’s license.
What’s even more eye-popping: She previously ran an astrology-themed sex therapy business called Cosmic Kinks Tarot, which offered ‘kinky birthchart readings and live tarot therapy’ aiming to ‘empower individuals through the exploration of their sexuality, spirituality, and the stars.’
On her current business website, Exulted Sex Therapy, Galindo notes that she is a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate. Galindo received a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate license in 2024, according to records.
The idea that Republicans are running some kind of secret psyop by giving this woman tons of paid publicity is totally unfounded. Never attribute to conspiracy what can be explained by a congressional race featuring a sex therapist.
