I would love to have a conservative candidate who was also a family man. For all of Paxton's faults, we "can't spare him. He fights," as Lincoln said about Grant. This is more than politics. We are at war for our very survival as a nation. I don't mind ill behaved conservatives being outed. But when you look at Paxton's opponent, who would be nothing less than a catastrophe for Texas and America, this is, in my opinion, not the time to be knocking him. This is the time to be knocking the lunatic Talarico. We have to look at the big picture and consider everything, most especially the consequences of a SenatorTalarico. We won't see perfection this side of heaven.
Our Lord repeatedly used imperfect men in His ministry because they were the right ones for that moment in time. I think this is the same. Politicians are narcissist ego driven creatures or would never step into public life. Yes, this statement is a generalize truth, but you don't become politically public without those 2 traits... but we are just electing a known politician
I think you could have been more impartial in your coverage of Paxon. You did not include that the Paxton's have been separated at least once before for the same reason so not a surprise to wife. Before this divorce petition was filed, they had been separated for some time. Now Angela wants the public to have this picture of her as the injured party even tho this state has No-Fault divorce. She waited to file until KP announced his run for senate---IMO on purpose-- with lots of political heavyweights behind her publicly filing which was her choice of course but made it public from day 1 -- to make sure it made the media---then she went on to state that she had no means to support herself -- *poor me- I just don't know how I'm going to survive with no skills*--aimed at wanting more than 50% of the martial estate and creating an atmosphere of victim IMO. Finally, she made sure to include on "Biblical Grounds" Yet, she has no Christian issues of smearing her children's father. Don't sound to Christian when that is her weapon of choice.
Angela is talking. Ken is not. That means we have half the story. I really can't make a judgement about their marriage with so little info. I admit none of it (so far) makes Ken look good, and it's possible that he doesn't talk about it because it might not help him. Again, we have to look at the big picture and figure out what will best serve our country's and children's future.
There was a time when I wouldn't dream of voting for a philanderer. But things have changed dramatically in America. The Democrats are no longer pretending to be patriots. You could say that that is a good thing, at least they're being honest about who they are. But thanks to the devoted work of delinquent parents, public schools, and universities, public and private, our kids hear nothing negative about socialism. Instead, it's encouraged. They don't know the history of communism, nor its record of perpetual failure. Consequently, we have brainwashed Americans who vote. We are in big trouble. We must take our fighters where we can find them, and Paxton is a fearless fighter.
