Jasmine Crockett for US Senate???
After crockettforsenate.com and jasminecrockettforsenate.com appeared on a list of new domain registrations, many assumed she was preparing to run for John Cornyn’s seat.
The obvious truth about the viability of a Crocket for Senate campaign didn’t come from Texas Democrat Party insiders, but from a guy who spends half his time reviewing burgers.
On the Y’all-itics podcast, Bud Kennedy offered his take on Crockett’s chances at the statewide ballot box:
Jason: Bud, let’s start with you. How likely do you think it is Jasmine Crockett launches a Senate campaign?
Bud: Well, let’s say she did. It is likely that she might run for Senate, win the nomination, and then lose the general election. We’ve seen over and over, that black and Hispanic voters—even if they have a Democratic habit— black and hispanic men don’t vote for women. We saw that when Hillary Clinton lost votes in Texas, when Kamala Harris lost votes in Texas. Minority male voters are not going to vote for women, [or] at least have not shown it so far. So there’s a great chance she would win the primary and then lose the general even to a Ken Paxton.
What can you say? What I say is LOL.
Looking at pictures and videos, many Texas Democrat party meetings appear to be about 99% white, with an average age of about 75. In 2025, they have successfully established white-exclusive spaces, despite the fact that their broader political platform explicitly opposes the very existence of such spaces. It is one weird thing among many that makes nobody want to be associated with them.
These hardcore activists would happily throw their support behind Jasmine Crockett, but once again, reality stands in the way of leftist fantasy.
