In recent days, Texan Twitter/X CEO Elon Musk sued Leftist smear guild Media Matters For America (MMFA) for fraud. Allegedly, MMFA manipulated data and “fringe” ads on X, then falsely accused Musk of promoting “antisemitism” for his commitment to free speech. After these assertions, numerous monopolies, from Apple to Disney pulled all ads from X.
For those unaware, MMFA is a Leftist “watchdog” existing to defame anyone to Romney’s Right, and demand censorship. Greg Gutfeld best summarized who they are.
Owning the only social media platform supporting free speech, Musk did not handle this smear campaign well.
Considering the Leftist mob’s endless tantrums against Musk, despite his personally meeting and amicably speaking with them, I don’t believe he will cave. After the immeasurable screeching he endured after giving President Trump his account back, and the constant nagging from a far-Left group ironically called the Anti-Defamation League, he moved in a Rightward-direction.
Musk is far from alone; people from conservative activists like Jack Posobiec, to Trump Cabinet member Stephen Miller, and even Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey took his side.
Missouri’s Bailey is not the only State Attorney answering the call; our own Attorney General Ken Paxton is joining the fight to protect a Texas businessman, and freedom of speech itself. Paxton opened a probe into the infamous group.
Hopefully, Musk and Paxton win and MMFA goes the way of Gawker and Jezebel: Neomarxist cringe farms that were utterly destroyed.
Eventually people realize no amount of capitulation will appease the mob, and go on offense. Musk realized this, and was (temporarily) labelled a “far-right conspiracy theorist.” Despite the character assassination, he trudges on.
About time the right stated using lawfare to punish their enemies.
