Palestine Protestors, Journalist Arrested at UT
“Antisemitism will not be tolerated” but the border is open? Ok 👌 thanks.
On Wednesday night, Texas Governor Greg Abbott shocked Republicans by saying that college students who engage in protests containing “hate-filled” antisemitic content should be expelled from all public colleges in Texas.
The comments came as an online flex on Abbott’s X while dozens of protesters at the University of Texas at Austin were being arrested by Texas DPS.
The antisemitic hate speech must have been pretty bad—Abbott sent in the last platoon of non-obese cops in Texas to smash some skulls and restore a safe space free from hate speech.
The non-obese cops and DPS even arrested the Fox News cameramen for allegedly hitting a DPS officer.
The protest was declared an unlawful assembly by Ashley with UT police.
More than 30 protestors were jailed yesterday, with charges ranging from criminal trespassing to obstruction. Protestors have now moved to the jail, and are occupying the police station.
This is a pretty strong response. Many are asking why the police and Governor Abbott didn’t give this sort of response when the trans activists shut down our state capitol in early 2023.

Abbott has falsely claimed that he will protect free speech on campus.

Abbott has never called for BLM protesters, sex activists, or illegal alien agitators to be arrested—much less expelled— from public colleges in Texas for “hate-filled protests.”

Abbott is policing the content of protests in public spaces, however the wide open border seems like a more pressing issue. Maybe Abbott could send some intolerance and expulsions that way?
I am glad ABbott did stand up against the UT protestors. However , he has definitely needed to stand against protestors over other issues!!
