This has been an exciting year, politically speaking. Very competitive primary elections turned the Texas House more conservative; we have a new Senator-at-large in Brent Hagenbuch, and the President of America could expire at any moment. However, today’s story roundup reminds us that we should never take freedom for granted.
Multiple AG Paxton Staff Subpoenaed by the FBI
Our sources are telling us that multiple staffers in the Office of the Attorney General have been subpoenaed by the FBI.
We’re also told that staffers have requested general/civil litigation for OAG representation.
We’ll update when we have more info.

AG Paxton Claims Texas House is Attempting to Impeach Him Again…
Last night, Attorney General Ken Paxton released a statement that the Texas House General Investigating Committee is attempting to impeach him. Again.
Multiple sources have confirmed to us that this is not true. The committee is investigating an issue completely unrelated to the OAG and/or Paxton. So we’re kind of shocked to see a statement from the AG like this.
Additionally, a member of the House of General Investigating Committee has said that there’s no basis for Paxton’s statement.
So, what’s going on?
Will the AG claim that “grassroots pressure” got the Investigating Committee to cease attempting to impeach him again? Will the Investigating Committee announce what they’re actually investigating? Will Joe Biden make it to November? Will Brent Hagenbuch run for Congress in New Mexico despite not living there?
Find out next week.
And the Saga Continues…
