Brewery that hosted Pedo-Storytime Goes Out of Business
In November of 2021 Current Revolt Reported that the Denton Public Library announced it would be hosting a “Transgender StoryTime” hour, all paid for with taxpayer dollars.
After Current Revolt exposed this taxpayer funded pedo-storytime, parents successfully rallied to have the child sexual grooming event cancelled.
Of course the local AWFL mom, Amber Briggle, who originally lobbied for pedo-storytime needed to ensure that men dressed in women’s clothing still had their chance to read sexualized books to children.
Bobby Mullins, owner of Denton brewery Armadillo Ale Works, reached out saying he’d be more than happy to host pedo-storytime.

Briggle said the brewery is perfect for an indoor gathering. There will be plenty of tables for kids to do crafts, which are being supplied by Denton Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, and stay socially distanced. Briggle noted that the event is aimed at ages 2 to 8, and children under 5 years of age can’t yet be vaccinated for COVID-19.
A transgender-storytime event where grown men show up, in women’s clothes, to read to children ages 2-8.
On hosting the pedo-storytime, Mullin’s said he was not concerned about the backlash.
“I’m pretty sure we’ve done a pretty good job at letting our customers know we’re inclusive, and if someone gets mad, they don’t have to come during the event,” he said.
It looks like people took his advice and stopped coming.
Yesterday, 3/27/22, only 4 months after hosting the transgender-storytime event, Bobby Mullins announced via Instagram that Armadillo Ale Works would be closing down.
Mullins blamed COVID, bad sales, and mounting debt for shuttering his doors.
We reached out to Armadillo Ale Works for comment throughout the day. The phone went unanswered.
What a tragedy.
