President Trump Announces Midterm Convention in DALLAS

As far as the date; Bloomberg has reported that the Republican Party will be hosting the convention in Dallas on September 9-10.

Bloomberg:

…the Republican National Committee updated its rules in January to make this possible, aligning with Trump’s push for an event to spotlight the GOP agenda midway through his second term.

Rumor has it that the American Airlines Center will be the venue of choice.

Republican Party of Texas Chairwoman Says Party Financial Situation: “A lot worse than we thought.”

In a X Space last night, Republican Party of Texas (RPT) Chairwoman D’Rinda Randall gives an update on the RPT finances. Says “It’s a lot worse than we thought.”

Randall says that her team requested the previous administration to remove themselves from the bank account and they did not comply. Randall says her the GOP legal team had to get involved in order for her and her team to get access to the RPT bank account.
