Democrat Congressional candidate Rhonda Hart is running against Rep. Randy Weber in District 14, which goes from Galveston to Beaumont. So far, she’s wasted no time in proving her ignorance, even failing basic geography.
Here, Hart claims Ukraine’s border is next to our own. In her view, if the US stops funding a forever war in Eastern Europe, we will face a “Red Dawn” invasion or something.
A brief look at a world map was enough to debunk her.
For those needing more exact results, here’s how far the Texas border is from the front lines in the Russia vs. Ukraine conflict.
In a nutshell, she posts the most nonsensical claims online believing everyone will just nod along. If a country lacks a Golden Corral franchise, chances are Hart cannot find it on a map.
As if being geographically uninformed wasn’t enough, her Twitter/X profile is a compilation of gibberish.
For example, Hart reposts lobomitized tangents comparing normal people waving Southern flags to Congressmen waving Ukrainian flags. Considering nuclear war enthusiasts in both parties celebrated the foreign aid bill (210 Democrats and almost half of Republicans), this statement is incomprehensible.
Perhaps her most deranged move on social media, she shares posts implying State Rep. Briscoe Cain is a rapist (and Republicans at large.)
The rest of her feed is gun control posts and J6-related anti-semitism accusations (i.e. word salad.)
Luckily, she’s running in a pretty red district and will lose; but how unserious is the Democratic electorate to select Hart? If Weber somehow loses to someone this ignorant of the obvious, the GOP has bigger problems. When she expectedly fails however, will this really shock anyone?
If she reflects the general Democrat electorate, this proves they cannot be reasoned with, and Texas must reconsider giving everyone voting rights. Why should we allow people who can’t know their own gender, or find America and Ukraine on a map, to decide the fate of 30 million Texans?
She’s not alone.
