Stephen Miller Drills TX House Republicans in Closed Door Meeting
"Does Texas have a RINO problem?"
In a closed-door meeting last week between White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller and Texas House Republicans, Reps. were drilled over their failure to pass better bills, specifically those regarding illegal aliens.
Miller started the meeting by asking if Texas had a “RINO problem” which led to awkward silence among the Texas Republicans Reps. At one point Rep. Charlie Geren left the meeting frustrated with the questions related to RINOs.
When Miller asked whether TX House Reps passed a bill to challenge Plyler v, Doe, Rep. Andy Hopper mentioned he filed that bill. Miller asked why the House didn’t pass it, and Hopper said it didn’t even get a hearing in committee. Rep. Jared Patterson claimed the bill had an “author” problem which led to Miller asking why good bills were getting killed over “author” issues.
Miller continued drilling Reps. asking why they hadn’t passed stronger bills against illegal aliens including bills related to preventing illegal aliens from renting property in Texas.

Yes, Texas most definitely has a "RINO problem," Steve.
You hope it is true. And that it leads somewhere positive.
