Student Who Killed Classmate Bragged About Violent Past
Another student killed at school.
18-year-old Aundre Matthews murdered another student during a fight over a $21 vape pen after Matthews bragged about having a lengthy school disciplinary record.
Aundre Matthews accused Meismer of stealing a $21 vape pen, searched his pockets, and found nothing. Matthews killed Mesmer anyway, stabbing him in the eye with scissors.
Meismer was airlifted to a Houston hospital but succumbed to his injuries later that afternoon. Matthews was arrested and charged with murder.
Students protested the school district outside the school with some students saying that these kinds of kids should “clearly” be “separated” from other students.
