A gay couple who gained legal custody of twin boys are now raising them in a rustic log cabin far beyond the city limits. Their “primitive” lifestyle experiment is part of Chip and Joanna Gaines’ latest move to charm white women into propping up their empire built on farmhouse chic.

Waco-based HGTV producers Chip and Joanna Gaines started a new show called “Back to the Frontier,” styling it as a social experiment in getting modern people to LARP as pioneers. From the program’s promos, you’d think this was great family entertainment.

However the series has Christians up in arms as it also prominently features a gay couple with two adopted boys.
