Texas Education: No Schools Fail After State Removes Failing Grades
That was easy.
America is a very serious country run by very serious people. They would never change the rules of society just to make people feel good and avoid offending anyone.
The Texas Education Agency on Monday released its first public school ratings in three years and despite pandemic interruptions, the number of schools that received the highest rating increased.
It’s a miracle!
88% of districts received either an A or B rating in 2022.
That number was 60% in 2019.
How did they manage to get away with claiming no schools failed, and instead doing a “no rating,” implying they just forgot to rate all the bad schools?

Senate Bill 1365 gives the Texas Education Commissioner, which is currently Mike Morath, the power to selectively exempt any school from the A-F ratings if the district or campus are located in a disaster zone under 418.
The entire state of Texas has been under a hoax disaster declaration since March 2020 when Abbott the Cripple seized limitless power because the television told everyone to be afraid.
To this day, we are still living in Emperor Abbott’s personal disaster zone that he renews every single month.
The real disasters have been caused by Abbott and his fellow Lockdowners and Covidian followers.
TEA mentions that many schools were closed by Covid hysteria, but says all this just means higher grades.
Ok.
Either kids benefit academically from being away from these public schools or they just cooked the books, and have moved to totally arbitrary standards in their rankings.
They are actually claiming the lockdowns and school closures increased academic success!
TEA Commissioner Mike Morath credited local educators with the increases seen, despite those interruptions, in each of the A and B categories and a reduction in the number of schools that received below-average grades, those in the "Not Rated" category.
“These results show our state’s significant investment in the post-pandemic academic recovery of Texas public school students is bearing fruit,” Morath said. “I’m grateful for the driving force behind this year’s success: our teachers and local school leaders.”
They put out fake ratings and gave the media a quote saying everything is great, but in their report they claim there are hundreds of schools located in a disaster zone and their students are failing everything because of the disaster.
This is Soviet Union-tier deception.
Covid tyranny expanded government power, but it also expanded government’s ability to make excuses about things.
I speculated when the standardized tests were paused in 2020 that they may never come back. However, I noticed many Republican elected officials were not comfortable with totally removing any and all accountability.
They haven’t got the memo about how they’ve built this system on lies.
Everything is still moving in the direction to end standardized testing, and objective testing generally, because the entire system is built on the lie that socioeconomic status (they usually mean much money is in a kid’s parent’s bank account) is the main factor in determining intelligence and thus academic achievement.
This is why schools have introduced “equity,” which is a similarly arbitrary way to try and “equalize opportunity.” We see that despite all schools being located in the “disaster zone,” only select schools were given a pass on accountability.
When you try and examine this socioeconomic-centered theory on education outcomes, it spirals out of control quickly. Eventually, you are told it’s a conspiracy of systemic oppression. It’s never explained how you have this simple situation where all these kids sit captive in school buildings for hours and hours a day, and then some of them can’t even read or write.

Actually, flat earth is much more compelling than these convoluted education excuses.
It turns into a wacky worldwide conspiracy to covertly subject people to unseen oppression – commensurate to their skin tone– and then to go as far as stopping kids from learning in schools completely, all for no apparent reason.
They have been lowering standards in our schools for a looooooooooooooooong time now. They teach to the lowest common denominator so the stupid idiots in class don't feel so stupid and the smart ones sit around bored to tears hating every minute of school. Nobody wins and everyone gets screwed. THAT is public education today.
You left out another reason for our kids not being educated. The Woke Liberal teachers and schools who would rather show kids how to have gay and trans sex than to teach them how to read, write, math, science, etc. CRT, SEL, etc. are against Texas law, but that does not stop the woke from doing it and teaching that crap is even worse than teaching nothing at all.
