While doing some digging, y’alls truly found some curious cases of mislabeling on the Texas Sex Offender Registry website. For instance, take the case of Kenneth D Bowens; despite obviously being Black, the Registry logs him as “White.”
Overall, we hope it’s just a clerical error that will be corrected. Bizarrely, this anomaly is not an isolated occurrence, happening more often than one expects. Though bureaucratic incompetence is common knowledge, mis-categorizing people this blatantly requires a serious explanation.
We called the Texas Sex Offender Registry support line but received no answers. Overall, there’s no rational explanation for these happenings other than incompetent government workers, people are “self-identifying,” or something more conspiratorial.
There is a general trend of blaming Whites for everything, rooted in Critical Race Conspiracy Theory, with White-bashing normalized as a result. Another core pillar of this conspiracy nonsense is that ALL “inequities” (even in offender demographics) are the result of a vast racist cabal plotting to oppress minorities, and things should be rigged against Whites to reverse this. Corporate America seems to embrace this nowadays.
Could a desire to show more “equitable and proportional” statistics be behind the Texas Sex Offender Registry’s errors? If so, who’s making these decisions?
With such hogwash being accepted, perhaps “trans-racial” people will become more common. I mean, there has to be some way to get around an imposed system based on skin hatred.
I wonder, on a per capita basis, which race commits the most sex offenses.
Call Crime Records # 512-424-2474 to complain about this. I also called AG Paxton's # and followed up w the Governor's Office. Dealing with low level beaurocrat minions should get me a sainthood. If they are fudging these records, which I was told begin at the local police dept and are sent to them to post online, then someone is doing something illegal because they are changing the data. I finally called the Tarrant County DA's office and was referred to the sex deviant dept at which point I had to leave a message for a call back. This is allegedly where this disinformation originated from as per the Crime Records Dept person who I spoke with earlier. I am supposed to get a call back from them. So, to recap, everyone just passes the buck to the next persn/dept as is usual with governmental agencies. I shall wait and see if I get a call back from the Tarrant County DA office. Will try and update IF I get response back.
